Tara stepped into the courtyard curiously, tail whipping out behind her before twirling tight around her waist. She'd only been here for a few days, and though she had passed through many times she hadn't really looked around. Now she was going to.

It was an odd place to her, there were tree's, grass, and flowers but it was so quiet. It had confused and concerned her at first but then she realized that this place probably wasn't as attuned to its various inhabitants as her home world was. She could hear the trees, at least, though their voices were whispers and very tired ones at that. They seemed to be sleeping, at least to her.

It bothered her and she wondered if she could strike up a conversation with one if she got closer.

Tail whipping out again she walked up to a tree not far from the little path she was on. "Hello" she said softly, reaching out to touch it's thick trunk with a small, delicate hand. The bark beneath her glowed a soft light brown for a moment and she got a muffled response. She smiled softly, giving just a slight peek at those shark sharp teeth before she continued speaking, musing softly in her mind. I hope I'm not waking you.

She continued, standing there as the two had a quiet conversation, going on about the reason it was so quiet, the recent weather, her powers, and interesting goings on. As she stood she stepped a little closer and pressed her forehead to the tree, eyes closing as she wrapped her arms as far as they would go around the trunk.

All in all she looked a little odd but thought it herself to be rather standard behavior when speaking with a quieter being.
