The hustle and bustle of the streets were loud in her ears. As players walked back and forth, smiles on their faces, and talking loudly. There were many things one could see. There was one person near by themselves, nursing a drink. Another laughing way too loudly with his friends, as if trying to forget something. Others in front of a Mission board, looking at any mission they could take for some Coli as well as to raise their ranks up. As for one, sitting on a bench in one of the many parks in Town of Beginnings, was one figure with a cloak around her form.

When the people looked over at her, they would think she was dazed. In truth, that was what Faye was doing at the moment. Her mind, something only she knew what happened and what to do, was currently in overdrive. With medium short blonde straight hair, she had pale skin. So forth, those would be beautiful on a woman. But she didn't look like a woman. Even with her cloak on, it was clear she was a petite young girl. She looked young, with a round face, and orange wide eyes. Hanging over her shoulder though, was the weapon she wielded. A double edge lance.

Faye at the moment, was calculating how much Coli she had left, and to see if she was going to sleep in the park once more. As it was, with the current situation happening within NOW, the NPC's that walked were slacked when it came to finding players sleeping out in the open anymore. Everyone inside of the game were trapped. Just like Faye was.

Yet she didn't live her life everyday that way. Instead, she lived each day, one at a time, like she was back in the real world. Staring up in the sky for the longest time, her orange orbs soon caught sight of a butterfly. Her eyes watched it, her face full of indifference. Yet when she saw that little fluttering bug, her face lit up slightly, lips parting a bit, as she let out a breath. Right away, her thoughts were gone in a flash. All she thought of now, was how beautiful the butterfly looked.

It was a miracle that this girl was at the level she was, while in the game.

Outside the Town of Beginnings, a introverted Ice Mage was training on the lower level, oversized wildlife scurrying about being natural pests. Vadimus took on a quest to eliminate as many giant crows, rabbits, and rats he could find before nightfall in Floor 1. His pay and amount of experience granted would be based on how many killed and how well kept crops are in the vicinity. He lured a group of carnivorous Giant Rats(Lvl1) into a Frost Trap he had cast in the tall grass to deter visibility. Suddenly the group of three rats were cause in pillars of ice that slowly cracked from the fighting for freedom from the oversized rodents. After the 5 second time period ended they all continued their charge, though slowed by their frozen stiff joints. Once lined up perfectly Vadimus threw his hand forward, a blue ring of archaic appearing shapes surrounded his hand and a hurricane force gale of frozen with with heavy hailstones blowing around in the torrent ravaged the giant rats. The force at which the rats where impacted by the hailstones was enough to kill the lot of them. Vadimus kept to his stoic demeanor. Not saying word or showing any peak or excitement from earning a multiple kill. His Lexicon floated beside him, flipping through pages in a systematic manner. Ever couple of minutes it would flip a page or two. As he joined the corpses of rodents the skirt of his ankle long robes dragged in the air with his slow levitation. A light, transparent blue sharpened tip attached to the end of a super-slender blade could be seen sticking from down the Ice Mages side. When he came to float over the corpses, they eroded revealing the drops. He found a pouch of money to which he will never understand, partially digested animal carcass, and lastly a an old key. It was rusted but still looked usable. Perhaps it opened something? "I should find Veto..." He whispered to himself.

Meanwhile in the town of beginning, a small ruckus was underway near the general store. Apparently, two players had gotten into a fight over simple things. They could have cracked under the pressure of not being able to wake up from this fantasy dream. On a bench just outside of the shop, VetoMustDie, or Veto for short, sat contently as the noise continued. In truth, he couldn't hear it. He had found the music player in the options menu. There, he could play nearly every OST the game had whenever he wanted.

Unknowingly, he was humming quite loudly to the tunes that were playing. It was a nice break from the grinding which he hated. His musical mood was shattered when two bodies flew out of the general store in a scrap. It seemed one of them were yellow players, or those that had killed a player. Veto turned down his music to listen in. Apparently, one of the guys involved had a girlfriend in this world as well, and she was probably killed, which led to this fight.

He frowned at this, but didn't interfere. instead, he looked at the world clock, which was near the general store.
"I should get questing soon." And with that, he stood up, and flipped on his hood, which restored his mysterious look, and began walking away to find an NPC which he could obtain a quest from.

After staring at the butterfly, for no how long, Faye was soon snapping out of it with a slight start. "I'm daydreaming again...." She mumbled softly to herself. Her voice was a soft breathless way, a bit of a singsong as she shook her head. Letting out a breath, she soon stood up as she began to make her way out of the park. It was time for her to find something to do. Right away, her mind went back on how much Coli she had. With that in mind, she swiped her hand up in front of her, as she went through her menu. Scrolling through as she walked, as she looked at her inventory, and then checked out how much money that she had. She made a slight down like face, at the sight of such a low amount she had left.

"....I'll have to do a quest then....I won't be able to make enough on a mission." Missions were different from quests. In a mission, it was just a simple task to do one thing, and earn the money at the end. A quest though, was a set of tasks to do, and along the way to earn items or money. At the end also had a big reward in some way or another.

Making a slight sound in her throat, Faye continued her walk, making her way towards the streets of Beginnings, as she was following by memory where some NPC's could be at. Though, as she walked, she still had her menu up. Scrolling through everything she owned. Faye didn't really notice it, as she had walked in the path of a very tall blue haired man.

  5. Characters in this post:
Veto bobbed his head to the music. He very much preferred OSTs over actual music. Unfortunately, he wasn't looking where he was going, and he toppled over an oblivious female. "Crap!" He shouted out. His music instantly stopped and he tripped over the woman's small body. His face inevitably met the cobble ground in what would LOOK like a painful accident.

He quickly got up and helped up the fellow player as well.
"My bad, I'm clumsy, I should have watched where I was going." The last thing he wanted was a player challenging him to a duel over something simple as that, so he flipped back on his hood, turned around and instantly found the NPC he was looking for standing right there. "Oh, convenient." He muttered.

  6. Characters in this post:

Faye let out a slight loud squeak, when she was suddenly met a solid form. She ended up falling on her rear end, almost having her head meet the ground. Luckily, she spaced her legs apart, and moved her hands behind her, to catch herself before she did that. Blinking her orange gaze a few times, she looked in a dazed like fashion over to the blue haired male she ran into. She opened her mouth, about to apologies for doing that. But he ended up beating her to the punch. She blinked in slight wonderment, as she wasn't able to say a word of a sorry to him, as he flipped his hood back up and walked off. Only stopping short, in front of a NPC.

And one with a quest. As she stared at both of them for the longest time, she easily stood back up. Brushing the dust off of her cloak, she would move forward behind the blue haired male first. "Um, are you too going to be doing a quest?" Faye asked in her soft voice. All in all, she still didn't have a remote expression on her face, yet at the same time, when she had a face like hers, she didn't have to crack a smile all the time. Yet she gave a slight hesitant smile up at him, as the male was clearly taller then her. "If so, would you like to team up then for it?"

When it came to asking, Faye was direct about it.

  7. Characters in this post:
It had seemed the same female he ad just knocked over wanted to party up for a difficult quest. He couldn't complain, since going solo in a situation where you could actually die is a risky idea. He turned around, looked just above the woman's head and saw her username and level. "Sure.. Faye." He felt as if he heard that name before somewhere, but he couldn't quite remember. Instead, he opened up his panel and sent Faye an invite. Afterwards, he noticed his friend Aaron was grinding. I could add him as well. He also sent an invite to him. If he accepted it, he would be given the location of his party members, as well as the details of the quest they were going to accept. "You know anything about this quest we're doing?" He asked the woman.

  8. Characters in this post:

Faye gave a slight more easier smile to the player, looking at his bar to see his username and had to blink a bit. Wow, he was one of the few that used a strange one. But never the less, she would look at her menu for the pop up of confirmation of accepting the party invite. Moving her hand up, she would push the Yes button, and talk softly in her usual voice. "Good. It's nice to meet you to Veto." She couldn't help but giggle a bit at the name. Raising her head up, she would turn her large orange orbs up at his, while smiling still. "I don't know if you have a strange sense of humor, or just came up with your name on the spot."

Then the question switched over to what the quest they were doing. She frowned a bit, then looked over to the NPC to see the pop up of the quest name. "Um, 'Historic Find'. I only know a little bit from the details this quest gives, from what I heard of rumors while I'm around here. Apparently, this quest is one that needs to go up to the third floor to complete it."

Faye frowned more, as she reached up to scratch the side of her blonde head, as she spoke slowly as she recalled the different rumors. Running through her mind quickly, as she sorted out the important ones that seemed like facts. "Apparently there is a secret cave somewhere on the second floor, that supposedly is a secret tunnel or wave point to continue to the third. But from the rumors I heard, its said that near the middle of where the second goes to third, there is a Trap set up there." Shrugging, she looked back up at Veto as her face went back to that indifferent look. "Some say its a mob attack type, or a unknown boss no one has heard about. All I know, is that at least three people supposedly died taking that place. And the reason why, is that taking this route, is faster then the long way to get to the third floor."

Reaching up again, she scratched at her head, as she tilted her head to the side. "I wouldn't know though....I never got to go to the second floor anyway or beyond." Stating something that shocking, it was amazing that Faye was at the level she was, while only grinding and working on the first floor of the floating city.

  9. Characters in this post:
A faint ringing noise of a notification rung in his ear. It startled him but he remembered it was just someone getting his attention. He looked up and noticed over his interactive UI was a party invitation by .::VetoMustDie::.. The eyes under his hood relaxed from being widened by the surprise noise. He accepted and went back into Beginnings to find his new party member. He levitated at the top speed he could, which was the equivalent to jogging. When he found his blue haired friend standing along with a petite, pink female. He suddenly heard another notification noise and the very females face appeared in the party UI. He didn't mind this, though he didn't trust her. That double edged lance gave off some bad vibes. Quietly, he finally made his way over to his two party members. Key still in hand. "Who is this new player, Veto?" He asked slowly turning hive hooded face over to her.

  10. Characters in this post:
Veto could only wince when Faye found comedy out of his name. She wasn't the first to do it and she wasn't going to be the last if he survived this ordeal. As she explained the available quest, it sounded more and more sinister. There was a possibility of a mob or boss ambush. "It won't be much of a surprise if we know it's coming." He sounded confident in his abilities as well as his party members. Faye was the highest level, but he didn't expect her to be taking all the damage. It was a dangerous quest, but it was one they had to do, if they wanted to wake up.

It was then that Vadimus, his best friend, appeared. It didn't take him long at all to respond to the invite, either.
"That's a good question, although it doesn't matter." He replied to him. "We're going on a quest to the third floor." Just then, he skipped the dialogue for the NPC and accepted the quest, then shared it with his party members. "If you two are ready, i'm going to the hills." The location he had spoke of was just outside of the town of beginnings. If his peers weren't ready, he'd wait for them there. If they were, they would just continue on, but regardless, he started walking.

  11. Characters in this post:

Listening to Veto, when he said about how it wouldn't be much of a surprise, she just shrugged at that. Faye heard the confidence in his voice. That was good. But then again, bravery was a double edge sword. Just like her lance was. It was why she wielded a weapon like that. It fit perfectly for her own image at the same time. Plus, it took everything she had, to have THIS one to be made specialty for her. Everything she had, she gave it up, farmed, grinded to get the materials. And lastly, even had to level up once more, so she could wield it. Hell, she even had to keep using her beginner lance the whole time through leveling. Faye had to do it, to make and get this weapon. For her class was a special one. And from the rumors she heard about it, she was excited at the prospect of growing more.

That's when a new voice came. Faye let out a slight yelp of surprise, quickly spinning around at the new male she didn't notice at all. Then she saw the ding of the UI to indicate of this character. Blinking her eyes at the name, she really had to look back and forth at the two men, when they spoke to each other. So....he actually had a friend here. It made Faye smile at that thought. It was good to have a friend, even in this chaotic situation everyone was in. Though it made it more harder, when you realize your friend could be gone in a flash. No. She shouldn't think that way. Pushing the thoughts savagely away, she thought on about the current time.

Faye blinked her orange gaze a bit, as Veto began to walk towards where the area to the second floor would be at. She took a step forward, but stopped as she turned to Vadimus, bowing slightly to him as she gave a friendly smile to him. "It's nice to meet you Vadimus. I'm Faye, I look forward to traveling together with both of you." With that said, she soon turned to follow Veto to the area they were all going to meet. There was nothing much Faye could do at the moment. She already had at least one transport crystal and health potion. But that was it. She didn't have the Coli to buy more, saving it for something more important and such.

Vadimus could never understand Veto's confidence sometimes. He figured it came with being a "brawler" class. His head slowly followed the direction his friend was going towards. He thoughts were trailing off into all kind of different places, he started to think where he was being led to and wonder if where he was going was to meet his inevitable end. Mages have low defense and HP, making him the one to die the easiest in the party. He did have a number of spells to help keep the monsters at bay but they could only get him but so far at a lower level. He frowned and made a silent vow to himself to keep his senses acute and play it smart. His daydreaming was cut off by a soft, feminine voice calling his name. It was Faye giving him a gentle introduction. He hadn't ever received one before. Most people just tend to ignore him, or he'd be the one introducing himself then being later embarrassed by the onslaught of teases and insults. It felt nice to have received a proper introduction. It made him grow some trust for this new girl. From the way she spoke, and her polite gestures it looked less likely that she'd randomly turn and drive that lance through his chest during a climactic battle where he is most distracted. He cracked a awkward smile and nodded. "Y-you too..." By the time he responded she had already walked away with his friend. He started floating behind her while keeping his friend in sight while looking around for any higher level or dangerous looking individual within the town.

  13. Characters in this post:
Veto traveled through the open plains towards the hills in the distance with music in his ears. He barely noticed his other party members following him. This was something he was accustomed to doing outside of the game in the real world. It was useful for blocking out parasites he called neighbors. He didn't have to do the same in NOW, but it was more of a habit at this point.

Eventually with their traveling came tougher mobs. He didn't bother fighting them at all. He needed to save his energy for the first floor boss, if there was one. Once they were close enough to the hills, he turned down his music and stopped.
"You know a lot more about this quest than I, Faye. You should lead. I have no clue where this boss is." He explained.

  14. Characters in this post:

As they were going through the fields towards the hills they had to go to, they came across monster mobs. Faye barely fought them, just dodging out of the way, and kept on going. They were mostly react types. Only fighting those that fought back. It was on the second floor and up, that was all different. When they came closer, with Vad floating behind her, and Veto in front, the smaller petite female was between the two of them. As they came closer to the hills, she let out a slight sound as they were closer to the point where they fight the first floor boss to get to the second. Then, it was Veto's statement that made her freeze.

For a while, Faye stared at Veto with her blank face. Suddenly, she blushed red, and started to freak out. Her arms waving up and down beside her, as her voice was high pitched. "W-w-w-what?! M-m-me?!?!!?" She was more shocked then anything. Even more so, she did knew where the first floor boss was at, to get to the next. But as it was, she knew since the first few days she played the game. She just stayed on the first floor to level up enough to get to the range of level she had been wanting for a while.

Swallowing deeply, Faye soon started to fidget on the spot. Her arms in close to her chest, as she looked back and forth between the two. "Um, the boss for this floor...its supposedly on the highest hill, in a arch of stone, kind of a bit of ruins.....its there we'll find it. A-and supposedly it's a beast type boss. Not humanoid in the least, more in the feral cases. To know where to find this ruins, it will have a tall elm tree at the top of it...." She then gave a sheepish smile at him. "A-and....I'm not so good at leading....." Plus, it went against her nature to even try to lead. When she was in fighting mode, it was another question. But not, she was a bit meek. More of a follower and helper, then being a leader type in the first place.

    ~Floor // 1~

  15. Characters in this post:
"Beast type? Feral?" Vadimus thought. It made him worry about the varied attack patterns and veracious nature of a beast boss. He saw how unsure Faye was of her leadership skills, it didn't bug him any. This was anew reality to try and get accustomed to. Leading in an environment like this can be tough and difficult to figure out what to do at the right time. Only going by your knowledge of the game as your basis to lead. Even then it wasn't the easiest task. He looked off to the distance too notice the shrubbery of the large tree guarding over the ruins Faye had spoken off. It made his heart beat irregularly at the tension of possibly fighting for his life than for fun. He floated between the two and drew his sword, carving into the dirt a sort of "battle plan". "Lets say this is the boss..." He drew a large oval shaped creature into the dirt. "And this is us..." He drew a few stick figures of the trio."I could lead the beast into my Frost Trap. That way it can be frozen for a few second while you two prepare your attacks, and I could get some fair distance to start casting my longer distance spells for aid. This is your regular ol' tank and damage deal but with a party of only us three we need a method that works." As he explained he drew more onto the diagram of his attack plan so they can get a better idea of what he was talking about. With his low voice he figured they probably couldn't even hear them. Especially with Veto having his music playing. He finished the diagram and stood upright and turned to the two while backing a way a bit so they could study his dirt-agram.

  16. Characters in this post:
Veto kept a stern expression when Faye nervously freaked out. On second thought, she probably wasn't fit for a leader, but he couldn't judge. He wasn't fit either. In the mist of confusion, Vadimus stepped up and drew a battle-plan. It made sense. If this boss was large, dodging would be easy. Although, it would only take a few hits to kill a player, logically.

"It's a solid idea." He commented. It was way better than just rushing in blind. They were playing with their lives here. He looked back and spotted the large elm tree Faye mentioned. An omen-carrying wind blew through them.

"Let's take this boss down." He shut off his music and the default music was heard again. With their minds on the same page, Veto set out climbing the tallest hill.

  17. Characters in this post:
"Good going... You're slowly coming out of that shell." He thought. He sheathed his rapier back in it's holster at the left side of his waist. He stepped down on his diagram of the battle plan and scuffed his feet over it to level out the dug out dirt. He again turned to the giant Elm tree, looking at it only gave a unnerving foreshadow of what was to come. He wondered what the beast was, what it looked like, if it had offspring, was it a combination of two beasts or more, was it big, or if it was even a burrowing enemy... He understood that this was a lower level boss but playing with his life would make an actual threat out of this anonymous beast. He looked around the hills, a few other players were grinding on the neutral creatures grazing on the grasslands. He had an idea, maybe to help the trio get accustomed to working together. "H-Hey ummm... Do you think we should grind on the creatures roaming around here? That way we can practice our strategy and possibly level up before we face the boss? Get some money for potions too?" He suggested sheepishly.

  18. Characters in this post:

When Vad started to speak of a plan, that's when Faye moved over so she could see what he did. Staring at it, she saw how it was a good one. Plus, she looked over at Veto and Vad a few times as she spoke softly in a low voice. Her face full of concentration, when she started to speak. "What if, I take the rear of the beast, and Veto can go up front to it. Or....I can take the front and he hit it from behind." She bit her lip, trying to think of how they would go about it at fighting it. Of course, when Veto said about going to fight the boss already, Faye honestly felt nervous.

Swallowing, she was about to speak up, but stopped when Vad soon asked about grind on the creatures in the surrounding area. She thought about that, and had to agree. She had heard that most monsters near a boss ring, when moving onto a next floor, they tended to drop special items sometimes. Faye gave a smile, as she nodded while looking over at the two of them. "That sounds like a good idea. Plus, I also need some of the Coli as well."

    ~Floor // 1~

  19. Characters in this post:
He nodded, and waved his hand to open his inventory UI. He only had about 300 Coli, which would only get him a few health and manna potions at most. On his person, he had 6 manna potions and 3 health potions. Barely enough to survive against a large boss and to do some serious grinding. He turned to face Veto as he was already set out on climbing the hill ahead of the two. He quickly levitated over to Veto and grabbed him by the shoulder to get his attention. "Veto, wait. We're gonna grind and stock up on supplies first before we head out. Get potions and some money in case we make it to the second floor. You in?"

  20. Characters in this post:
It was predictable that he hadn't noticed nobody was following him up the hill until Vadimus stopped him and explained. "Ehh? Grind?" He narrowed his eyes at the thought. He hated grinding more than anything, but it had to be done. "Sure, why not?" He replied in a dragged down voice. That was when he turned around and regrouped with them. They were probably grind masters, so he would follow them for the best spot.

  21. Characters in this post:
Vadimus sighed. "I know, I know... But it's best if we prepare now. I'm close to leveling up anyway. But I don't get a new skill until Level 5, I believe." Pulling up his character UI while floating back downhill with Veto, he checked his Skill Tree. There many link passive skills with different spells buff ups. His next skill was a buff up that he would receive at Level 5, as he assumed. Next level, he gets to place a point into a passive skill, albeit he only has one passive skill so far. And that was with his freezing side effects, if placed one more point into he could unlock three more passive skills he can place a point into at Level 5, or further down the line. He closed his character UI and rejoined with Faye.

  22. Characters in this post:
Alright, I know I wanted to get a bunch together, but thiiiis is a bit Too much. Fuck. Currently, Ain was trying to gather five or so monsters before she roasted them. The good news was, she was doing rather well. The bad news, well.. she'd managed to get a higher level monster than she'd wanted. Normally, not so bad. With so many of these little ones, though.. They could all manage to kill her if she didn't rid of them fast enough.

Stopping at a clearing, she shot a lightning bolt at the higher monster, managing to drop the HP a little. Then, glancing around, she smirked. No one in sight to accidental harm. The last thing she wanted was someone to try and kill her for an accident. "Good, good." Her staff in hand, she quickly threw her hand out before slamming he staff down, a shock wave knocking back a couple of the more lightweight monsters. the area around her grew a little darker before suddenly, a couple of meteors started their assault on the monsters. Due to the lower level of some of them, they died by the end of the storm.

Checking her stats, the mage figured she was still good to go. Shooting a few fireballs to the rest of the weakened monsters, she finished them off and collected the experience points. Good haul. She'd even managed to get some money. The drops were mainly trash. Junk. Huffing, she brushed a few strands of her short hair.Alright.. Not too bad. She hadn't lost too much health, but now she had to wait a little before she could use her magic. Normally, if this were a different case, she'd be a lot more reckless. Now that her actual life was on the line, she couldn't risk it.

    ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬
Watching as Vad went to speak to Veto a bit. Faye stood back a bit, shifting from one foot to the next, as her gaze wandered away. She was able to hear a bit of their convo, and learned that the fighter agreed to grind a bit. She smiled slightly at that, her orange orbs moving back over to the floating mage as he made his way back towards her. She didn't have to be told to know they were going to do. Bringing up her character UI, she went and unchecked the cloak she had in her current wear. The cloak around her shimmered, and was soon gone. The outfit underneath, would be seen as a cute appearance. Yet it would also be a bit of a strange sight. When one looked at her level three clothes, they didn't know what to think. But she didn't care. These clothes were good, and had a good help to her. They had a speed bonus, something she needed when she used a lance type weapon. With that thought in mind, Faye drew her deadly looking weapon off of her back. At first, it looked almost too heavy for her. Yet the female easily held the weapon in question in one hand, like it weighed nothing at all.

While Faye stood there, slowly looking around, she soon caught sight of the first few sightings of monsters. It was a small pack of Dire Wolves. They were level three and fours, as well as a sight. They looked to be huge wolves, almost the size of a young teen if one had to guess. Their eyes were also completely red, while fur was a deep dark blue. On their backs though, they had slight bristles poking out of their shoulder blades. Faye didn't move as she stared at them with a blank face. The smile gone now. Taking a deep breath, then her whole appearance seemed to change. It wasn't that she looked different, it was the air around her.

Faye's expression smoothed into a indifferent look, her orange gaze now serious looking. At the same time, her stance shifted as she slowly raised the back end of her Razor down slightly. When the light glanced off of the metal rod hanging at the end of her weapon, is when she took off. She was fast, very much so. Upper body angled down a bit, she easily ran forward. Her feet pounding the grass in front of her, as her feet ate up the distance.

One of the wolves took notice, and soon let out a vicious bark. The others were on alert, and growled out as the one that let out the call, was soon loping forward. The sharp teeth bare, as it was soon running right at the running lancer. Faye didn't change her expression in the least. Just as she was about to run into the beast, she suddenly jumped up into the air. Faye's body would jump over the wolf, almost flipping over it. But the more shocking thing, was that she ended up shifting her Razor weapon down, the front of it, easily digging into the head of the wolf and slashing to the tail bone. When Faye landed, it was with the wolf she attacked shuddering, and bursting into pixels.

The other wolves, were soon growling and snapping, making their way to the petite female that just killed one of its own. About four of them left now.

Just as the two arrived, Faye had begun grinding with medium leveled mobs. She had almost completely changed from her earlier behavior. To be able to pull of that kind of move took skill. It was impressive. However, there were still four left. Veto pulled down his hood and revealed his face. He too, held a serious expression. The tattoo over his right eye made it seem like he meant business. "I'll take two, you take two." He said to Vadimus before darting off much like Faye did.

    Rage activated.

The tattoo on his face glowed red. His black gloves left behind a mystical trail as he closed in on the two unsuspecting mobs. The closest one was punched in the stomach, which knocked it back a few feet. It would take a moment for the wolf to recover. It's health dropped down to 10%.

The next mob got the same treatment. Having Rage on meant he could repeat his most powerful skill for a short time, so again, he made another mob go flying a few meters. His sprint ended, and so did his Rage skill. His tattoo and trail died off. All that was left was two aggro'd, low health monsters. Both of which he took care of as soon as they ran over to him.

The last two of the Dire Wolved zero'd in on Vadimus. Their salivating maws gritting their jagged teeth with a stifled growl behind them. Vadimus was slightly intimidated by their feral nature and bright red eyes. The wild fire didn't help much to try and ease the appearance of this bestial attacker. They're sharply nailed paws slowly treading in the grass, gaining closer and closer to Vadimus preparing to pounce. Vadimus slowly floated backwards trying his beast to get some distance between him and the wolves. He held his breath and forced his magic to his hand. A ring of blue with frozen crystals falling and melting before hitting the ground surrounded his hands. The wolves picked up on this and saw it as a threat, one snarled and barked loudly before pouncing and the other ran the other way around Vadimus. The ring around Vadimus' hand expanded and moved in front of his palm and from between the ring a vortex of cold wind with heavy hailstones slammed into the jumping wolf, sending him back and slowing his joints from the sheer cold. The second wolf that flanked around Vadimus came in for the attack, with quick thinking Vadimus laid a Frost Trap under the wolf, freezing the beast in place. With both hands, rings of magic surrounded them, this time the rings are thicker with a more falling ice crystals. He shot his hands at the two wolves. The first one laid out on the ground was pierced with a large shard of ice. On impact it dissolved into pixels. The wolf encased in ice was given the same spell. The shard pierced through the block of ice and through the wolf. The wall crumbled and from within the rubble the wolf dissipated into pixels too. Vadimus had finished his fight. His hearts fast paced beating had stopped. The battle was over. He felt the gain of experience flow through him. He huffed and fell to his feet... He hated feral beasts.

Anastasia wandered along, trying to find some of her friends. Sure, she had almost gotten killed a couple times due to monsters appearing out of nowhere, (Really, it was just her not paying attention,) but she was still alive and kicking. She also had plenty of magic left over. She saw a storm in the distance, recognizing it as a mages powers, and sighed. She ran off in that direction, and eventually stumbled upon her friend. Ain was there, and she seemed to be doing alright. She stood behind her friend, looking up at her. "Being reckless, yet again, are we? While I'm not around to help, too. Tch.."

Ain glanced over at the familiar voice and smirked, raising an eyebrow. Tail curling up a little, the feline mage gave a slight shrug. "No clue what you're talking about. I just managed to get a bit lucky~ You don't need to babysit me all the time." A slight pout appeared, almost in an attempt to sucker in the smaller female into a laugh. Anastasia was one of two people who knew her true gender. Needless to say, Ain was pretty comfortable with her. "Still hanging in there, I see? Didn't get picked on?" Two weeks into the game, there were a couple of deaths already. She was glad the priest hadn't kicked the bucket yet.

Brushing back a bit of hair, she adjusted her headband, tightening the loose ends from behind. "What're you working on?" She asked, wondering if the other woman had a quest or just floating around trying to gain levels. It'd almost become boring at times. There was a reason why she didn't always join these sort of games. Could get old quickly.

"I don't need to, sure, but still.." Anastasia couldn't help but smile at her pout, and rolled her eyes. She turned away, looking to see if there were any monsters around, and let out a sigh of relief when she saw that there wasn't. "..Well, I'm alive, and that's all that matters, right?" Turning back to her friend, she offered a friendly and soft smile. "People always pick on the priests. Softy, they call me.. Little do they know, I can whoop all of them easily!" She flexed a bit, but couldn't keep a straight face at that last comment, and ended up laughing. "Okay, not so easily.."

Anastasia scratched her head, thinking about what she needed to do. "Ah, nothing at the moment. I was just wandering, trying to find someone to be with. Got lonely, you know?" She shrugged, smiling sheepishly at her friend. She probably wouldn't have admitted that to many others. Anastasia didn't like to come off as someone who depends on others all the time.

"I won't die. 1 life left so, can't waste it." she muttered, making a face. A slight laugh escaped, grey eyes shining in amusement. "Oooh. Big bad Ana going after them. Cowering in their boots at the sight of you, I'm sure." She played around. Looking around as well, Ain huffed. "Yeeah.. Everyone's being a lame-o and hiding out in the towns." Didn't want to risk it. Hell.. If Everyone was like that, they'd never get out of the stupid world. She didn't want to be stuck here, but she also didn't want to risk her neck on fighting the Big bosses. "Least you have me, right?" She asked, smirking.

"Well, no use staying here. Thinking about going to level 2?" Ain asked after a moment, thinking about it. Of course, she'd gone there before. With a group of people. There were much powerful mobs, thus why she'd gotten to level 5 so quickly. Now they had to beat the boss from the current level again. "Ugh.. Yay bosses."

Anastasia smiled and nodded at her friend, grabbing her arm. "At least I have you! Where would I be without you? Probably dead somewhere, that's where!!" She puffed her cheeks out a bit, thinking about her friend's question. "I guess so. Shouldn't we find others, though? Unless you think you and I would be able to take down a boss on our own..." She wasn't too sure about it herself, and probably shouldn't trust Ain either, considering how reckless she could be. But Ain would never put Anastasia in danger, so if she thought the two of them could take something, Anastasia would definitely be there alongside Ain, helping her out.
