The rest of their time had been spent catching up with her other friends, and enjoying the delicious buffet the cafeteria had to offer. She was going to head back to her dorm room soon. Maia was curious to see whom her new roomie was, but for now, she wanted the fresh air and the peace of the garden. There weren't many people outside, so it was nice and quiet.

She'd always considered herself lucky to be at the Academy. The place was really so, elite. Something she'd not have been able to get into with her type of income and status. In fact, Maia had never even Heard of Velubian Academy before the letter came to her parents home. She'd always counted it as good luck.

Word must have gotten out about her scores, since she didn't have to worry about paying for all those text books and other supplies. Her time there was just, great. Despite some road blocks and, pain in the asses.

Checking her phone, she noticed it was just past 8. Still gave her enough time to decide if she wanted to go to that party Oliver was throwing. Start the year with a bang. The boy sure worked quickly to reclaim his title this year of being the go to guy for anything 'epic'.

She'd probably go for an hour.. Classes started the next day. She had to be bright eyed and bushy tailed in order to get ready and be there in time for her first class.
