Hey, lookit that! A friend! Banjo padded his way over to his new buddy, wagging his tail and slobbering slightly in delight.

Did he have food? Most humans have food. Something around here smelled like food. Banjo snuffled around the man's feet, taking in all the scents of his shoes and pants. The chlorinated water still stuck to his nose and made everything smell funky, so Banjo had to sneeze a couple times before he could tell for sure that no food was around. What a shame.

But that's okay! Banjo looked up at his pal and his whole body wriggled as his tail beat the air enthusiastically. Hi there!

The very first thing Luciferus Satanus August Belzebub The Third noticed when the dog came towards him was the slobber. The thought of having any of the dog slobber on his refined suit sent shivers up his spine. He grimaced when the creature sneezed all over his equally fine shoes, and he had to hold back from taking a handkerchief from his pocket to reach and clean them. He would likely dirty them again, that was what dogs did, right?

Instead, he pushed the glasses up the bridge of his nose and observed the dog critically. "You're not supposed to be within school grounds," he stated, though he knew there were quite a few pets going around with their masters already.
If anything, he shouldn't be in school grounds alone. "Where is your master?"

Hearing the man's voice made Banjo wag his tail even harder. Wow, this person was paying attention to him! Getting attention is so awesome! Banjo suddenly couldn't hold it in any longer: "Roooooo!" he howled, lifting his head up and excitedly answering the man back.

Banjo ran around in a small circle, unable to stay still for very long. There may not be a cat here, or food, or squirrels, or anything else that he had hoped to find, but this was still turning out to be fun! Yaaaaay fun!

But why wasn't the new friend trying to scratch his ears? Banjo loved a good ear scratch and could usually get one if he sat still long enough. Maybe the man just wanted him to behave? People were always trying to tell Banjo to sit or stay still or shut up, it was just hard to keep the commands straight at times. Fighting to calm down and be seen as a Good Boy, Banjo finally sat down and looked expectantly at his new pal.

Luciferus Satanus August Belzebub The Third sighed in annoyance when the dog was quite obviously unable to sit still. He hadn't really expected an answer from a dog, of course, but one could only hope...

He took a moment while the dog calmed down to take his glasses and the handkerchief he'd previously avoided removing, and cleaned the glasses briefly before replacing them on again. Pocketing the handkerchief, he let another sigh and knelt down in front of the dog to examine him.
He knew next to nothing about dogs, but this one, he had to admit, was kind of cute. He looked to see if he wore any collar, reaching to pat his head at the same time.

She stood in the bushes watching every movement waiting for her little snack to be dropped. she waited some one was bound to drop a cookie right? She felt a soft something hit against her head. she sniffed the ground COOKIE. she looked around but no one was around > there she ate happily
