In times of strife, evil will typically flee to the shadows seeking safety and solace, but there they will only find us waiting for them. We are the agents of justice hidden in the shadows. We are Legacy......
Archer was the greatest hero that the world never knew. A man so extraordinary that he was
capable of taking down entire drug empires and terrorist organizations all by
himself, then disappear like a phantom.
One day he disappeared
for good and no one knew why except for the orphans who were brought together
in an underground facility, trained in secret for the day they would continue the work of their enigmatic mentor.
As they grew, they were worked endlessly, learning from a few ruthless instructors (themselves loyal
proteges and friends of the Archer) and the many videos recorded by the hero
himself in his final days whilst suffering from a mysterious
disease.
Espionage, martial arts, weapons mastery, fieldcraft, these are but a few of the skills that the orphans would learn to make them
into the most deadly human beings on the planet.
As their training comes
to an end, it is finally time for Archer's Legacy to put their skills to the
test in the real world, to find and punish the wicked wherever they may hide.
Rules
1. No godmodding

Background
The children... I suppose I shouldn't be calling them that anymore, they're all young adults now. Well in any case, they don't know it yet, but today is their last day of training. It's a day that I've both hoped for and dreaded in equal measure. They're finally ready to pick up where Archer left off, but - and I know this is going to sound silly coming from me of all people - I worry about the dangers they will face out there in the real world. They've had the best of training from the best of people, but they are still so young. Once the other instructors go off into retirement, I'll be the only one left to watch out and care for the kids. It... scares me, but I suppose that the way things are is the way they have to be. I'll be showing them Archer's last video soon. Don't know how they'll react to learning that he's been dead all along, but once that's done, I'll have to give them their new identities and send them out of the nest right away. Not forever of course, but it still feels like saying goodbye in a way. I can only hope that they're ready for their first assignment, the one that got away from Archer before he got sick. To think that no one's managed to catch the bastard yet... well that's going to change real soon.

Characters
All the members of Legacy have received the same amount of training in a variety of fields, but some are going to be better than others at certain things. So when making your character, throw in one or two specialties, eg. computer hacking and sniping, martial arts and stealth, assault tactics and vehicle driving, medical skills, forgery, etc.
To give an idea of what their childhood was like, they'd spend most of their days having knowledge beaten into their heads (sometimes literally). In times of leisure (3 hours a day at most, broken up into hour long intervals), they'd have access to the internet and equipment of all sorts to do whatever they wanted. Watching shows and movies, watching the news, playing video games, playing sports, working out, sparring, reading, writing, drawing, practicing some of the skills they've learned, etc. And then it's back to training.
The kids were worked hard, but never to the point of unnecessary cruelty. No one has died from the training as the instructors have endeavoured to provide the best of care, but that isn't to say that a few haven't come close. Basically, the training was brutal and spartan like, but without the mortalities.
Some may still remember their lives from before they were taken in to become the Legacy. Remember that all members are orphans, though some may be siblings.
Not all are going to be at the same age, but they're roughly 17 to 19. They've all been trained over the course of 8 years.
All the members of Legacy recognize each other.
And I think that's all you'll need to know to create a member of Legacy. For characters that ain't a part of it, it's all up to you.
