    Day 3:
Not knowing what kind of horrible things that where going on above her, at the surface of New York, April wandered around tiredly through the undergrounds ways that lead through the city. She was tired, thirsty and she had been walking in the dark since two days. Electricity was been shut down, so she didn't have to fear the idea of a metro crushing down everything on it's path. There where already enough other things to fear.

Finally the path came to an end. Lights burned on her eyes and lighted up the city, it was day, something like 7 'o clock in the morning, but April had to guess. Her watch was broken and the clocks in the metro were plugged in with electricity. Fearless she stepped inside the sun and let it burn on her skin. But suddenly out of nowhere a huge metal appeared on the skyline. It was not human. Within the second she jumped back into the dark. It didn't notice her, or if it did it probably didn't see April wort of it's time. she smiled softly…

Coming from the eastern most tunnel, Grant noticed a flicker of daylight. "A way out, finally." Under normal circumstances, he'd have known these tunnels like the back of his hand. But when the bombs touched down, it decimated most of its structure. Causing shifts in some area, collapsed ceilings in others, making it a maze for even the most skilled trekker. Regardless, he was just happy to find his way out. As he rounded the corner, he looked up and saw a girl just standing there. She looked as if she was in a daze, or stunned, or something. For safety measures, he pulled his gun out of it's holster and pulling back the hammer to arm it. "Hey!" He yelled to her, "What are you doing here?" Times were desperate, if she didn't get moving soon, he was going to shoot her, and take whatever supplies she had. You could barely trust yourself in this day and age, let alone some catatonic looking girl.

A soft sound of footsteps came from behind her, followed by the sound of a man, yelling something. Her hart stopped beating for a second. An other survivor could mean two things, someone that could give you a helping hand or an other enemy that wouldn't be afraid to eliminate you from the second he got the chance. When April slowly turned around and the sun of daylight lighted up a dangerous looking man carrying a gun in his hands she assumed it was the second situation. April shivered and ran out of the tunnel covering herself against the outside wall so she still had a clear view on the man.
What the guy probably didn't expect was that April also carried a gun. She found it in the hands of a dead police officer only a day ago. Not exactly knowing what she was doing she loaded the gun and pointed it toward the man. 'Stay there I'll shoot!' she exclaimed, not sounding convincing at all.
    *BLAM*
in the heat of the moment she accidentally pulled the trigger so the bullet shot right true the wall of the tunnel. 'Shit.'

The bullet whizzed past him and he turned for a second looking in the direction it flew. "Sheesh, who taught you how to shoot?" he scoffed. The shot itself didn't phase him in the least, being in the drug trade for so long, he was used to rounds being fired at him, and he's seen plenty of amateurs like the girl in front of him. No doubt though, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out how to aim, so he'd have to play it safe for now. Lowering his gun he slowly walked towards her holding a hand in the air in a half-surrender, "Hey there chicky-poo, didn't you daddy ever tell you not to play with guns? You'll shoot your eye out." Grant let out a lazy chuckle flashing her his best attempt at a friendly grin. "Jokes aside though, what's a girl like you doing out her all by yourself? You know it dangerous here, and there's a lot of bad people wandering around." He was getting closer to her, now only about fifteen feet away. "I'm not one of them though, I promise." In all honesty he couldn't tell if her was lying to her or not. Was he a bad person? Probably. But he was just trying to survive like everybody else in this messed up city.

The sounds of gun made her wince. She spun around quickly and looked around "Hello?" she called out. She saw the light and two figures standing there. One walking towards the other. She walked up to them, quietly so they barely noticed her and hid in the shadows, listening to thier conversation.
She sighed and decided to show herself. She cleared her throat and held her hands up "I'm a survivor, an i dont want no trouble." she said simply
