The Winter never ends for those in the kingdom of Saareda and now their king is dead (some say murdered). The old man's heir has disappeared and the kingdom faces threats from the queen, the king's illegitimate daughter and a strange man from the sea with ambitions for Saareda. Well, there -was- a tower. Until there was an accident involving a fireball and the fuel room. Now... Not so much of a tower. More like a pile of smoldering embers. Which, of course, means that the student mages have to figure out what to do now. Great....

A school for shapeshifters of any age and ability to train their skills and to prepare them for the world. It also teaches core subjects like math and science. They have students who can barely talk and students who are older than the teachers. Some are even animals in their born shapes....

Shichiyou Academy is the last chance school for most, it takes kids of all ages as it teaches grades PreK on up to College for the students who wish to stick around the school.All kinds of creatures come here so beware not to get bitten (although biting is a good thing here).As it is a boarding school it can also be an all year living place for some of the students....
