Synopsis
Ch'Ek child of Pha'Nk and Yg'Ne of Alpha Bootis Four, known as Phig'Nth among the dominant race of peoples on the world.
Description
 | Ch'Ek is typical of its race- the Phig (pronounced F-eye-g). It is about seven and a half feet tall, fairly average for on of its gender. Tawny brown skin covers it body, scars of battle marring it along with the dark brown pebbly freckle like protrusions. It primary arms are large and muscled, five fingered hands attached to them with two thumbs on each. Its secondary arms are thinner and lithe, ended in three long clawed digits. Its broad shoulders and torso are thick with muscle that works its way down into the huge thighs. Below the ball-jointed knees the legs thin out with long feet that end in four long clawed toes much like the pair of smaller arms.
Ch'Ek's reddish brown hair has been groomed into a typical style: a short band of hair that runs between the bony protrusions that curl from its head (that act as sounding boards similar to ears) and ends in a long, thin tail. The smooth, noseless face has six eyes- two on each side and two in the front that are yellowish in color. On close inspection, one can see the nictitating membrane that covers the eyes and the thin, slitted pupils. When overcome with emotion, these eyes give off a phosphorescent glow. Its two gouging tusks protrude from its mouth proudly, kept very clean and shiny.
Ch'Ek tends to wear fitted battle armor. It is simple and kept in good repair. Over the armor, it wears a traditional G'Gyh Cloak of blue. Several weapons are stored about its person- blades, explosives, guns of various sizes...

Personality
Ch'Ek is a focused and calm individual. It is also incredibly optimistic, always looking at the bright side of things. Ch'Ek seems incapable of cynicism or sarcasm because of the sharp edged optimism that rules its life. Because of this Pollyanna view of life, Ch'Ek can come off as simple minded- however it is anything but simple. It has a keen strategic mind bolstered by the intellectual faith of the Phig people. Ch'Ek is patient and calm and can plot strategy quickly in almost any situation.
Ch'Ek has a tendency to be gluttonous and lazy if left to its own devices. Ch'Ek loves food and eating. As such, Ch'Ek is known to gain excess weight in plentiful times. Ch'Ek also tends to be a bit snobbish about food and a touch of a know-it-all on cuisine. However, Ch'Ek will always think about the well being of others first. As a G'Gyh, its first instinct is to provide for others and protect those around it.

The Phig are an interesting race. They have three genders: the G'Gyh, the J'kul and the B'Nat. Or roughly; the holder, the giver and the grower. All three are needed to procreate. All offspring are born in threes; one of each gender. Family units are called V'Noct- or simply Home. Typically, the Phig are fertile when both moons of their planet are full- or about every 47 days. The G'Gyh are the only gender with four arms and are considered the 'dominant' gender. The smallest of the three genders is the J'Kul and the largest is the B'Nat.
The Phig have one dominant spirituality; Noth. It is a faith of intellectualism more so that blind trust. It tends to be an optimistic faith, but also one doused in curiosity.
