Synopsis
A drug addict who has locked himself away

Description
Mathis is a young male with dark hair, messy. He has greenish eyes and a slim build. He's of average height. His face shows the experiences of some suffering.

Personality
Mathis had a long rough battle with drugs. Due to his experiences he has become a very dark individual. He has split into two personalities. There is the original Mathis and a man who has yet share his name.

Mathis original: A man who'd had some measure of hardship in life and like so many turned to drugs for relief. He had a personality once, but he can't exactly remember what it was. He was sweet, he knew that, and he had good intentions that no one seemed to appreciate. He is essentially a hopeless apathetic individual who has lost his battle so many times he's losing the will to fight it. A very sad individual indeed.

Unnamed: Unnnamed is a very dark man but he has the addition of sinister added to his personality. He likes to hurt people physically and emotionally, and there have been a few times where the wayward homeless man fell prey to unnamed's blade. He has  habit of taking over in Mathis's weakest moments dealing with breaking from the addiction and going on a violent spree of anything he can imagine, and he enjoys bringing Mathis's back into control to view the worst of the deeds committed. It drives Mathis deeper into his spiral. Unnamed's goal is to tortorue Mathis until he grows bored of it and then takes over

Equipment / Abilities
No fantastic abilities physically, but Unnamed has a severe lack of conscious and deep set sadism.

History
Mathis had it rough as a kid. No need to go into details, but his home life wasn't exactly loving. As a young teenager he got into light drugs first, and then fell into a debilitating heroine addiction. After several years of this addiction and countless trips and days wasted, Mathis wanted to try and fight his way out of the addiction. The withdrawal was terrible, and he couldn't face it alone but he had no one to turn to- what friends he'd had had abandoned him in the midst of his addiction. It was then that another voice began to speak in his mind.

First it was just a voice of hatred for the drug, a voice to fuel Mathis's motivation to rid himself of it, but in Mathis's weakness the hate grew into a hate for nearly anything and the willingness to rid of the world of anything it saw fit. After several months of thoughts that frankly terrified Mathis he began to suffer from blackouts. He'd wake up in odd places, sometimes with a black eye or a few injuries. He could smell alcohol on his breath, but could never remember what had happened. This scared him deeply and he tried, in vain, to break himself of his heroine habit even harder but the terror of not knowing what he was doing would take him back to drug every time. At least on the drug blacking out was normal, unlike his sober black outs. After a few months of this, unnamed seemed to want to take it a step further and so he allowed Mathis to remember the acts committed by unnamed- rapes, bar fights, beating old homeless men up for no good reason, drunken rages. Occasionally he would even make Mathis watch as the acts were committed, but disallowing him to control them. Unnamed loved the rush these gave him, and so he continued to do them.

Finally, one day Mathis was able to find a little strength and he admitted himself to an asylum to try and break his addiction by simple separation from it for an indeterminate amount of time as well as to try and weaken unnamed before he killed anyone else or destroyed another woman's life. The only way the world is safe is with him locked away, at least for now.

In the asylum, Mathis has taken to reading the bible. He finds that religion helps to strengthen his resistance to unnamed, though unnamed certainly still rears his wretched head, but less often. Mathis draws on occasionally, as he finds that drawings are the best way to get the images of the acts unnamed committed out of his head. He hopes that one day he can function in society again.
