Personality
Taolin is definitely a surprising girl. While she is spunky and outgoing, she becomes shy and timid when meeting new people. At times like those, she cannot make eye contact and will stutter over all her words until her blush rises up to her ears. However, when with family and friends, Tao is somewhat of a knucklehead. There is no way to curb her sheer randomness.
Generally, she's a sweet and caring young woman who loves to have a good time.
Nevertheless, Tao can be aggressive and violent when need be.
Equipment / Abilities
Weapon of Choice: Her trusty rod! It's basically just a long stick that becomes narrower at both ends. It stands at about 6 feet long and is made of aluminum-covered bamboo. It may look like a child's toy, but it packs a serious punch when swung around at high speeds. The rod is the one thing Tao has mastered.
Skills:
Really... not too much. She can fight with her fists, feet, and numerous weapons. She can also repair virtually anything electronic. For some odd reason, Tao's also extremely good at soothing people emotionally and dressing their wounds.
Weaknesses:
CUTE THINGS. It's a silly weakness, yes, but a horrifying thing that can render the girl useless. If it's a puppy or a small (usually manipulative) child, she becomes enthralled.
Otherwise, no real weaknesses on Tao's part.
History
Childhood:Taolin was born to Christopher Lyris and Yuu Tsubana in a small village that was Yuu's hometown.
For her entire life, Taolin resided alongside her parents in the small town, growing up among friends and family in a loving community.
Starting from around age 10, the girl decided to start working part-time in her parent's shop Lyris Tech.
Present:
At the age of 22, Tao is working on an advanced degree for Civil Engineering Technology. She's also keeping up with her martial arts at least twice a week just to stay in shape.
Tao still works at her parent's shop 4 days a week, but she moved out years ago. Now, the young woman lives in a nice, small loft closer to her college.
