Tessa is a pretty girl, very pale with blue eyes and blue and white hair, her lips are a permanent pinkish purple, because of the water she is constantly in, they match the color of her tail.
Her mother and father respect her entirely, but her little sister, Missa, is quite jealous of her because Tessa gets to go on land once a month (for a week) to try and find the love of her life. She has the ability to do this because of what the sea witch did to her when she was an infant. Tessa was cursed to walk land once a month until she finds love, whether it be in the sea or on the land. She's made the best of this curse and has a friend, Kara, with whom she stays with when she lives on land. No one has caught her eye on land or in the sea yet. She hopes she finds someone soon.
