Personality
Being optimistic allows Kaori to be happy and care free most the time. She isn't one for vices, but she does get touchy when people lash out at her. Though, looking for good in people does leave her drained some times. She isn't perfect no matter how hard she tries to not let people see her anger. Kaori is independent for the sake of doing everything herself no matter how one might try to help her. Weary of actually finding a true love, but she searches on. True love, cause to spend an eternity with someone you would appositely have to love them with every meaning of the word "forever". Easy going, she tends to go about life like it never left her. She tries to be friendly and will accept anyone until they prove they can't be trusted. Even then, she gives them a second chance.
Equipment / Abilities
MIST
The power to slip away unnoticed by mist is one of her powers. It allows her on dark cold nights to leave her prey without the fear of being spotted. Holds up for about 3 blocks.
ILLUSIONS
Can place illusions of places or person(s) in front of peoples mind to break free if in trouble. Or, she can use an illusion to gain someones trust to then drink them. Illusions last for 2 hours.
HYPNOTIST
Can use an object, or the sound of her calming voice to lull people into a "nervous sleep" which leaves them unconscious enough to be suggestive to what the hypnotist is saying. Usually, uses this power along side the illusion power. Making the illusion feel more real. She can hold a person unconscious for as long as she wants until she snaps her fingers.
STRENGTH
With her strength she can easily lift a full grown man off his feet and throw him a few yards.
SPEED
Running she could out run a human with no problems. She is also sure-footed. Making sharp turns or jumping is a breeze.
SENSES
Other than strength, speed, regeneration, she also have the ability to in lack of a better word, sniff out her prey. Anyone that's bleeding no matter how their bleeding she can smell it and is drawn to it.
History
When she woke up in the alley coming home from work. She lay on the cold wet ground and wondered how she ended up there. Her neck hurt and she felt tired as if she could pass out at any moment. Trying to get to her feet and someone helped her up. Looking she say a man dressed neatly in a black coat and black pant suit. She thought she had died at one point cause when he spoke the words were loud and unbearable. Her hands flew to her ears and covered them protectively. The man smirked, taking her hands away from her ears gently started to tell her what she was now and that her life would never be the same. That she would never walk into the sunlight. Kaori at first screamed and tried to run, but tripped on her new legs and the scream she let out dazed her. Her senses were new to her as was everything else about herself. It would take time to learn how to control herself. Though, she hated what she had become, plus it didn't help that her mind had protected itself and blocked the horrible attack out of her mind along with any trace of her parents and home.
A few years later Kaori began a job as a nurse for a hospital working night shifts. Over the years Thomas had tried to get her to hunt humans and kill them after feeding, but she refused. She wanted to keep a part of humanity no matter if Thomas thought it weak. Thus, the reason for working at a hospital. This way she could help people while taking blood that she needed and nothing more. Thomas had had enough and moved on, which Kaori was glad he was out of her life..for now anyway. She would make due and she had had practice over the years about controlling herself. So, she wasn't too worried. However, she couldn't help but think what would have happened if she hadn't taken the short cut home.
