One of Nilofer's biggest talents is being able to adjust to nearly any situation. She is a true performer, not only as a dancer, but actress as well. She slips easily from one role into another, becoming what the other person would like to see the most or what is needed in the given situation. Over the years, she-caracal has learned to read people's expressions, gestures, even the way they speak to make correct assessments and is rarely wrong. Her roles vary from sweet, humble dancer girl on streets to seductive woman... Just how she seduces depends on what the man is most enticed by. Then there is the ferocious, unstoppable enemy image and many more.
You might wonder just what is behind all those masks, then, who is the real Nilofer. In truth, most of them are bolder aspects of traits she already has. She can display honest compassion and care for Nayrem and children or women in bad situation. Even men occasionally will receive kindness from her, but it happens much rarer. She has no problem of seducing them, however, but they will probably receive a dose of poison or be stabbed in back (literally, if needed) before it goes too very far. And if you betray or deeply hurt her, she will make your life a living hell before cutting it short.
She really isn't a sweet kitty unless you've been beaten up by life hard or happen to be one of her dear people, but currently there is only one person of such status: Nayrem. But for him, she can act purely selflessly and would sacrifice her own freedom or life to save his. She has sharp tongue that can wound deeply and has little regrets about being mean or sarcastic. It can be quite stark difference, if you have met her in her street dancer role and after that happen to be at her mercy, especially if you are rich or cruel. She finds it fair that they receive same treatment as they hand out.
Nilofer likes to take part in competitions of any sort, but only if she can win. And she will cheat or lie to achieve that - mostly because she is sure that everyone else will do the same, so why bother with honor at the start? She is proud of what she has learned and where she has gotten and does not plan to stop there. But at the same time, there are deep insecurities eating at her mind and heart that she's just a petty thief and will never be something precious, beautiful or important to anyone other than her crime partner. That is one of reasons why she is very protective over him and would take badly if he had another woman in his life, although she has no romantic feelings whatsoever for sand-cat male. Nor she can commit to relationships easily - she wishes to be the one that dumps and betrays, not the one that will dumped and betrayed.
Although she's generally a rather cheerful person who tries to find good in most things and even likes to socialize (Nilofer often mocks people behind their backs, though), she is also prone to mood swings that make her aloof and sometimes even depressed or at least philosophical and melancholic. Usually, it does not last long, however, but after such episodes, she tends to be nicer for a while.
Street life has made her cautious, so she isn't do first, think later type, but still acts on whims and emotions often enough. Despite being somewhat of a meanie, she can be moved by good causes and people stories and even decide to aid them while it does not hurt her or Nayrem. She also genuinely admires anyone who creates art or something beautiful and will openly express it, be it low-paid seamstress or land famous artist. Art and music are those things that she is actually quite passionate about and her street performances are genuine, she does put her heart and soul in them. And it all comes quite naturally to her, too. In all honesty, this feline is surprisingly well educated in all that a high born woman should know, even politics. Where she has gained such knowledge is unclear and she never discusses it either.
Nilofer is kind of adventurous, she likes being on the road and to have a little excitement in her life. It's hard for her to not do anything, just sit with hands in lap waiting for something and if she is forced in such situation, she will most likely start imagining new dance routine or something like that. In day-to-day life she can be a bit of air-head, but if needed, she can focus on home-making tasks. Nayrem prefers to do these things himself, so they would fit his standards, however.
