Synopsis
A bold bad man, that dar'd to call by name Great Gorgon, Prince of darknesse and dead night, At which Cocytus quakes, and Styx is put to flight. (Canto I, stanza 37) The Faerie Queene:

Description

Demogorgon is a 6'6 210lb man with almost luminescent blue eyes dressed in a black trench coat with the sword Orcus on his left hip. He has a curious scar running across this throat almost as if it has been cut all the way around.

Personality

In the many centuries Demogorgon has been on Earth he has acquired a sort of humanity, although his immortality separates him from the rest of the population. He gets excited when it comes to battle and any fighting in general as it reminds him of the power he once had. He has a light personality that is easy going as long as things are going the way he needs them to. He especially hates divine beings for what they did to him and can hardly stand their sight.

Equipment / Abilities

He is a skilled sword fighter using, Orcus, an ancient bronze sword. He has the power to manipulate the elements with a god like proficiency as it is the only power that the gods couldn't take from him. He does have  physical strength but nothing that a human couldn't achieve. His power comes at a great risk however, as the gods torment him mercilessly wherever they find him. Because of this Demogorgon tries to stick to using Orcus as much as possible.

History

Demogorgon was once a name that stuck fear into the hearts of gods and men alike, crushing opposition and enjoying his spot as supreme being. An ancient monstrosity he was created before there was light in the world, perhaps he witnessed the formation of Tartarus and creation of Uranus. However things changed. Demogorgon was seen as the greatest and as no human likes a better human so it was with celestial beings all they needed was an excuse. Demogorgon  had just returned to his dark home after a clash with his heated rival Orcus when they struck. Using a spear forged from the blackness of Tartarus and shafted with the rock of Gaia, the Greek Pantheon in conjunction with several other deities united to bring the great god down. In a battle that lasted a good century Demogorgon was cast down from the heavens, but not completely defeated. The gods together could only banish him into mortal form, giving him only a fraction of his once earth shattering powers. Now the banished demon roams the Earth in his human from looking for ways to regain his ancient domain and take revenge on those that humiliated him. But the Gods have not forgotten him or his ways and seek to hamper him at every turn.
