Synopsis
I've never felt more betrayed...

Description
Aza has thick, long, straight, dark maroon hair that reaches her waist. She usually adorns it with black ribbon in a zig-zag form. She has unusually pale skin, despite being a traveler. Her eyes are the same color as her hair. Long, black lashes encircle her almond-shaped eyes. Even though Aza has pale skin, her cheeks are always tinged rose-pink. She always looks like she's flushed, even though she isn't. She inherited her nose from a long line of Romani witches. And, of course, she has lips... and arms... and legs... Aza basically looks like any other human, with minor differences, of course.

Personality
Aza may look dark and twisted but her personality is the opposite, most of the time. When meeting someone new, she may act stiffly polite. But when the other person makes an effort to know her better, then her clumsy, 'fretting-over-everything' side comes forth. There are times when she could be very supportive and out there and then there are times when she would be in a completely grumpy mood. Aza may look and act supportive, but most of the time, her foot is in her mouth. She usually is frank and then apologizes many, many times after. She only means well.

Anger only bubbles within her for a few minutes, and then she calms down and utters a completely harmless but embarrassing spell afterward. So it's best not to mess with her. Pure anger only happens rarely, and when that happens, her powers somewhat spiral out of control. Things get knocked over, people close to her get short, dizzying spells, and small bursts of green fire appear on random places. Nothing too dangerous, really. Although, it would be a good idea not to make her angry.

So basically, Aza is just a mumble jumble of emotions. Be prepared to deal with her. :)

Equipment / Abilities
Azaria has been, mostly, taught in the art of potion-making. She uses a normal, wooden staff for defense and rarely fuses magic with it. Azaria inherited a belt of herbs and spices from her mother. The herbs and spices are not for cooking (although using them for cooking isn't entirely a bad idea) but for potion-making. She had also inherited a bottomless bag from her grandmother. She doesn't use any scepter of staff for magic.

History
Let's start from the beginning.

The females of the AspenLight family are notorious for mating with non-witch males, mainly humans. Although the grandchildren are now tinged with mortal in them, the magic still runs strong in their veins, mostly female veins. Most of the AspenLight generation make up the quaint town of Wolfsbane.

Azaria is an only child, and relishes every moment of it. She would very much prefer to be alone, although she does have a healthy dose of conversing with other kids her age. She has lived a perfectly normal 'witchy' life. Throughout her childhood, there have been reports of raids of nearby clans. She has mostly remembered her dear mother leaving home late at night, leaving her with her perfectly human father. Aza's mother was more supportive about magic while her father has a hard time getting used to it. He loved Lisabeth, Aza's mother, and he was making an effort to get used to it.

In time, Aza grew up to be the town's potion-maker. She was happy and content, until the poisoning happened.

Azaria has been framed for poisoning the mayor. She was the last one seen entering the leader's home, and that was because he needed a cure for his stiff neck. Despite her pleas for innocence, they held a trial, and a certain group of people then brought out false information that only implicated her further. She was innocent, and she knew that. But no matter what her close friends and relatives say about her, she was banished. Aza was never to come back to Wolfsbane. She was the first one of the AspenLight family to have ever been banished. And this brought great shame to her family.

So, never looking back, Aza then wanders the world, searching.

Extra
Azaria would definitely like to start over. Preferably in a cafe as a waitress... ^_^
