He lost his parents in a war, but it wasn't because of just vampires. All humans were issued to stay inside. They both got shot down by soldiers because they didn't listen. They even aided a vampire. He administered first aid to his parents knowing that they would die either way. After the war ended, he was the only survivor in his town. He got taken in by the vampire hunter association where he went through harsh training and tough situations. There he was taught to wield swords and show no mercy. Years later, when he became a high ranking soldier, he learned that this was the same association that were killing the vampires in that war. When he was assigned to attend the Academy, he decided that he would find a way to exact his revenge.
