Personality
Personality
Pyotr is very loyal, headstrong and stubborn.  He's more likely to jump into a fight than try to talk people out of it; he figures if he can get control of the situation, he can get what he needs.  Much like his cousin, when put to a mission he does everything he can to see it through which causes him to come off cold and heartless when people realize what's happening.

His true loyalty lies with his kind, his people and his pack.  He would do anything to protect them, even hunt down and kill his own Uncle and cousin whom have been deemed traitors to the Russian wolves.

To obtain his goal, he uses people; he gets close to them, get them to trust him and then gets what he needs out of them.  Once he's done with a person, he throws them out, sometimes figuratively, sometimes by killing them, it all really matters what's needed at that point.

Pyotr comes off as disconnected when on a mission, at least deep down.  He sets his own personal feelings aside knowing that what he's been sent to do must be done.  When on a mission, he can look a target in the eye as he kills them.  Those that help him are merely stepping stones and not beings to feel bad for possibly betraying in the end.

He's fiercely loyal to the tradition that has been over their people since the dawn of time.  He understands the hierarchy that looks down upon them and respects them above all else, even his own pack; to betray the hierarchy is a far greater crime than to betray the pack and should the two ever disagree, he will turn his back to the Russian wolves.  He's not fond of the idea of letting humans know of their kind and feels that those that do let out their secret still need to be dealt with, but much more privately now.

The wolf has a very protective nature and those that win his true trust can know they have a defender on their side.  He is likely to go off on anyone that so much as makes a slightly derogatory mark towards that person or group.  It doesn't help that with his temper, he's quick to escalate matters to a fight or until the opposing party runs off.

Likes
  • Children, oddly and not in the creepy way.  Pyotr does wish to have children of his own and enjoys playing with them.  He's kinda like that big, scary Uncle that the kids seem to flock to.

Dislikes
  • Disorder.  Pyotr has a strong sense of justice, purpose and place; if something isn't how it should be, it bothers him.

Equipment / Abilities
Becoming the Wolf
Pyotr is a pure blood wolf from the Chekhov family, an old lineage from Russia.  He has the beautiful colors of a red Eurasian wolf, the wolf of his homeland.  Russian's never ranked their wolves, for just because of one's upbringing and blood does not mean they were the power or weakness their family may have been known for.  The Chekhov's, however, had always been known for their loyalty, at least until Pyotr's Uncle betrayed that trust.  The Chekhov's have spent all the years after that betrayal rebuilding that trust, hunting down the one that caused to that fall.

Pyotr, much like his father, takes much pride in his appearance among their kind and as such shows no weakness whether in or out of combat, taking a blow or giving a fatal one.  He is strong, having fended his family from attacks of other Russian wolves that do not separate he and his father from the doings of Vitaly.  The failures of attacks and attempted kills as well as the continued dedication to the once-alpha (prior to humans learning of what they are), the wolves had started to learn that the Chekhov family is still very powerful and loyal to their once-pack.

Skills & Talents
Pyotr, despite his looks and personality, is a patient hunter.  He's the type that would lure his prey out, getting them to do the work for him before he swoops in to take the prize.  He's a merciless fighter, able to hide away his emotions to finish a job.  He uses his size and training to his advantage too for while he's patient and will play people to get them to work for him, he has no issue with getting down and dirty if needed.  He's a very skilled and deadly fighter, both in and out of wolf form.

You know those people that are frustratingly good at everything, even on their first try?  Yup, that's him.  The man is book and street smart, he's able to pick up on things quickly, learn skills and trades quickly as well.  He can read a situation like nobodies business and seems to know people better than they know themselves.  He has a vast network of people that work for him, keeping him up to date on whatever he needs to know and his speed at gathering information on his own is frightening.

A surprising skill?  He has quite the home ec. skill.  He likes a clean and tidy space, can cook, knows how to sew and do his own laundry.  He's very meticulous, mostly within his own space but his nearly OCD style tendencies show in his work too which is why he tends to be called for clean ups after a kill.  No one can clean a crime scene, leaving no trail, not even a scent of what happened, quite like Pyotr.

History
Pyotr doesn't have quite the "exciting" life that his sister has.  He had been taken from his mother at birth, like many male wolves following tradition.  All his life, his father had been searching for his missing brother or Pyotr's "Uncle vitaly".  His Uncle had run off with a wolf male and his sister that knew of their secret and no one had seen or heard from them in many years.  Honestly, Pyotr had begun to think his father had made the whole thing up, but the photo album that he found hiding in their house one day proved his father's honesty.

The pictures were full of younger versions of his father and another, younger wolf that looked very much like him.  There were even pictures, that looked more like surveillance pictures of them with two blonde children.  With how the album had been hidden, Pyotr didn't know if it was because his father wanted to hide the shame of his brother or because it had proof that the two boys played with the children frequently.  Either way, Pyotr never brought it up, never questioned it, but agreed to work with his father more often.

He was able to feel of more use when his first change finally came at sixteen, but even then, for three years, they still found nothing on the missing wolf and were unaware that he had a daughter.  But, after three years, someone dropped a tip that he had been sighted at an air port.  Offering his father assistance, Pyotr traveled to the US, his father guessing he was going to where he had been set years ago for a mission.  In the meantime, his father remained in Russia to make sure that if Vitaly was still there, they could continue their search.
