Biography:

On a bright sunny 26th of August, an energetic baby girl would be born to a pair of proud parents, as their first born daughter.  They would name her Lucine Elmas Anahid.  Lucine from the start would prove that she was a bundle of energy and activity, always on the go and always finding new things to explore.  However this proved to be a problem for her parents, as her mother was a simple shopkeeper and her father a farmer of a small, barely profitable farm.  It was enough that hey always had food, and could make most bills, with her mother's wages supplementing other things.  And her parents were happy in this life, but they didn't have the money for additional problems and so always worried about Lucine getting herself hurt.

As she got older, no matter how hard they tried to get her to be happy with their small quiet life, Lucine never could be even from a young age.  She often got herself in trouble for exploring people's homes, getting into thing sand sometimes discovering things that they didn't want anyone to discover.  It was like she had a knack for finding things.

When Lucine was 5 years old, her mother would give birth to a pair of twin girls, who they would name Siran and Siroun.  And of course this made things a little harder, but they muddled through.  Lucine from the start adored her younger sisters, just like anyone who met the two bright, beautiful babies.  Also starting at 5 was when her parents started being firmer about her running around, and started having her help with chores around the house as well as caring for her baby sisters.

As the years passed, Siran and Siroun would prove to be what they wanted in a daughter, both oof them were adored by everyone that met them, they were quiet, sweet and gentle.  Ladylike, neat and happy with a quiet life.  While Lucine continued to be wild in the eyes of her parents.  Not that she'd have much time to anymore since as she got older, they'd give her as many chores as possible to keep her out of trouble.  Of course it left little to do for her sisters, but they never did anything to disappoint their parents, happy to learn gentle arts and the like.  Although they were not perfect, compared to Lucine they did nothing seriously wrong.

Her parents idea to try and prevent her from indulging in her adventurous nature would end up backfiring on them however as they would have her working in the shop along with her mother because the shop owner had gvien their permission, having needed another person to help with the shop as it had expanded as their small town had grown somewhat.  Still smaller and on the quiet side, but now a richer clientele had been coming around and they began to carry enchanted items.  Learning to work with the items created an interest in enchantment for her and soon picked up a knack for it.  At first of course her parents would be happy that she picked up something that could be used to make money, a career, a semi-quiet sort of life.... at least that would be until they learned that she was focusing her enchantment skills towards helping with exploration and the like that she still always did in what little free time she had, not that there was much left for her to explore close to home.  But there wasn't much they could do by then regarding that either then nagging her to leave it.  Which she wouldn't.

Around 14 she started taking less hours at the shop because she was making good money working for the shopkeeper as the enchanter, and although she gave most of her money to her family to help pay for things, she did keep enough to begin exploring further and further from home.  Eventually this would lead her to finding a set of ruins just miles from the town.  They weren't unknown, nor well known and not completely explored.  Spending a weekend there, she'd actually end up being able to completely explore the ruins and find it's hidden treasures. And thus started her interest in treasure hunting, because it was a way to make money that involved  everything she loved, exploration, excitement and the use of enchanted items, etc.  Her parents would be happy for the money she started bringing in, but still upset that she was going with such a dangerous type of life that put her at high risk.

When she reached 18 her parents would start encouraging her to find a husband, but Lucine again tended to refuse.  It wasn't that she wasn't interested in finding someone, but she figured it would happen at the right time.  After all, none of the boys in her town was willing to be with her, considering that she was not delicate and sweet like her sisters.  Lucine was adventurous and outgoing, not the perfect wife to settle down and start a quiet life with. It didn't make her happy that none of them liked her, but she never let it bother her. After all, she didn't want to tied down to some boring jerk.

By the time Lucine reached her 22nd birthday, she was actually fairly well known as an enchanter for useful items for those who liked small and useful enchanted items, things that were more geared towards aventurers and the like.  However, what she was best well known for would be her treasure hunting skills.  She had found many ruins alone that had either been unknown or lost, and found even more treasures, even including ones that most thought were only rumors and not thought to be real.

Unfortunately, disaster would strike close to her turning 22, her fame as a treasure hunter would do her no favors as a very unscrupulous and greedy man would hear of her.  What he wanted was something from darker legends, something unknown if it was only myth or reality.  The Corebase, an item whispered to be powerful enough to destroy the kingdoms, to enslave whole races, to practically conquer the world.  The Corebase was made by an old and ancient race that none remembered their true name, that had shattered the item and spread the shards over the world.  Even the pieces were indestructible, and put together they would automatically start to meld together to form the Corebase.  Once it was together, it could be used.   This unscrupulous man, while rich had been unsuccessful in searching for the shards of the item.  He'd spent years searching and only found a few of the items.  So having heard of the famed Lucine, he would approach her and ask her to search for the shards.  At first she'd be ready to accept, being offered a large sum of money and it sounded like a great challenge for her.  However it sounded fishy and so she'd ask around about the artifact until she found out what it did.  Finding out it's dangerous properties, she would refuse the man.  Of course this would piss him off.

Shortly after her 22nd birthday, the same man would have her Lucine's younger twin sisters kidnapped....  Of course her parents would blame  her directly for this because of the fact that it was her fame that had lead the man who kidnapped Siran and Siroun to them.  And Lucine didn't argue, she blamed herself completely for it as well.  However she would be told that if she were to agree to work for him, he would return her sisters once she'd found every shard to the artifact and brought them to him.  In the meantime, he was going to hold them prisoner...  Shortly after that, she would have her eyes enchanted to see the glow of anything with a magical property despite the procedure being painful, seeing it as a necessary expense and thing to do to help get her sisters back.

Although she's been working insanely hard from the day they disappeared, her parents died shortly before her 23rd birthday, still blaming Lucine for whatever her sisters endured.  Almost a year later from their death, Lucine is still searching for these shards, which of course are very elusive, but she has been making progress.... Every so often, usually when she delivers a shard to her employer, Lucine is allowed to speak to her sisters... and even though they will not tell her what has happened, she can tell that the man holding them prisoner has been doing terrible things to them.  And despite them telling her that they did not blame her, Lucine still feels guilty for it all...  She only hopes to find every shard of the Corebase before too long... before something truly terrible happens...
