Adina had a pretty normal childhood in Washington State. Her father was one of the general managers of a very large corporation. Her two brothers, Eanic and Chakro, mother and father all lived in a house that accommodated for the sheer size of her family. Their was a garage where her brothers kept their bicycles to get to school. It seemed as though their family led the perfect life. Her mother was always smiling and cooking delicious food. Her brothers went to private schools while she was sent to an all girls school. Sports were absolutely no problem for her as well as common sense. She had joined the Gymnastics team as well as a couple others, but gymnastics was her favorite. Of course her mother enrolled her in things like singing lessons and Home economics. Not exactly her forte, but she did take a bit of martial arts on the side.
Every family has to have its downsides doesn't it? Well, Adina's father happened to be part of the mafia and a big gambler. When I say gambling, I dont mean with poker. He gambled with his life and the mafia. Unfortunately, it still meant money and he had put his mafia don in a lot of debt. It wasn't until Adina was the age of 9 that the mafia don had realized this fact about her father. He sent men storming into the house to seize her father and his family. Her mother was the only one home at the time. Then her brothers came home and then her father. They had all come in to an ambush inside the house. Each had been taken to the back yard. It wasn't until she got home that they stopped torturing her family. She had opened the door and yelled that she was home for school. Thats when a man came and grabbed her, bringing her to the back yard to see her family in a line, her father more towards the side with bruises all over his face. He looked up at her with sorrow in his eyes. No matter how much training she had gotten in martial arts, she couldn't fight off these men to go to her father.
Adina was held by the mafia don she had never met in her life. Her father owed a debt to these men and being his only daughter to give up, she became the only bargaining tool for this powerful man. Her father begged and pleaded right in front of her as a men held her family at gun point. Her eyes brimmed with tears as the mafia don turned her head away from the scene of her family.
"Now. You can save your family by coming with us, my little pet. Dont you think thats a good idea?" Miklos knelt down to her level so he could talk to her like a child. The man had a crooked smile on his face she could never forget. There was a scar over his left eye as if he had been in a terrible fight before. There were tattoos all over his body under his neatly pressed suit. His breath smelled as though he had been grubbing up a trashcan then smoked a cigar. It took her 30 seconds to get over the shock of his statement and features. A shot made her turn over to her family again. Her mother fell to the ground, losing blood quickly from her head, face lifeless except for the hole between her eyes.
"MOMMY!" She screamed and tried to run for her. "I'll do it." The Don's right hand man, Chelios, caught her and held her against him. Her mouth went dry as the tears continued to pour out of her eyes.
A gun was now being raised to her brother Eanic's head. She started to scream again, calling out to her brother as if he were about to die as well. Unfortunately, all the screaming cost her oxygen that she needed and she fell to her knees, the man still holding onto her.
