Anthea Petralia

Marin's mother, a deceased Guardian; Private side character

Anthena is Marin's mother, and it's obvious. The woman stands only one inch or so taller than her daughter with pale hair as silvery as Marin's. Her hair passes as light blonde, especially under most warm lighting and sunshine. Her eyes are a vivid blue, resembling lapis lazuli, matching Marin's. Anthena's skin is a pale ivory incapable of tanning, and blemish free - containing no birthmarks, freckles, scars, etc., like Marin.

While she was alive, she was a Guardian like most others, simply doing her job and not asking questions or allowing emotions to fuel or guide her in any way. Until... she became pregnant, not something that was allowed to happen to a Guardian as there were designated "Guardians" for such tasks. Her personality then became one riddled with guilt and uncertainty, then rebellion. Only a few short years after Anthena left Marin in a dimension of Earth, she was found and killed for her disobedience. The woman's current personality will remain mostly unknown, as she's dead. She will appear mostly randomly in urgency, anxiety, fear and sorrow. 

Being dead, Anthena no longer holds any of her old Guardian specific powers. What little power she's still able to possess, she holds onto in case Marin is to ever need it. The woman is able to watch her daughter from time to time from her sort of, limbo. When necessary, Anthena will awaken Marin's abilities, using up the last of her own power and allowing herself to completely cross over to the other side. Once that happens, the Guardians will have banned her from Heaven and it's more than likely that she will not be able to be contacted unless through Eliza.
