Synopsis
An ex-pirate, Aedan fights with the lasting remnants of a criminal lifestyle and his own morals.

Description
Aedan has dark brown hair.  He keeps it cut pretty short, bangs falling an inch or so above his eyebrows.  He has brown eyes and a slender nose.  His mouth can be seen in a half-smile fairly frequently.  His build is rather slender, but has a decent amount of muscle.  He is usually found wearing rather dark clothing, typically a dark brown coat with some light leather armor beneath it.

Aedan is not without scars, and has a knife wound across his left thigh, a scar in his shoulder from an accident involving a ship, and a few others from the general dangers of Skyrim.

Personality
Aedan can seem uncaring to some people.  He makes frequent use of sarcasm and jokes.  At his core, he is a fairly good person, even though he was a part of a ruthless group of pirates.  He has a fairly strong sense of right and wrong, and will let people know if he thinks what they are doing is wrong.

About his only hobby is whittling, and other than that, most of the things he does are because he believes it will be useful.  He holds respect for certain people, and if you can earn his respect, whether in combat, intelligence, or by any other means, you will have earned someone who will stand with you whenever you ask him to.  If, however, you do something to lose his respect, the loyalty earned will instantly be gone.

Equipment / Abilities
Aedan usually wears lighter armors under his dark coat.  He keeps a dagger in his belt and two swords, one of which is far more interesting than the other.  The first is a very average short-sword.  It has a straight blade, and is somewhat thick.  He holds this one in his right hand, while in his left is a curved blade that stays attached to his wrist by a chain.  He is able to swing the blade out by the chain, and is well-trained with the weapon and causing great harm with it.

As far as magic goes, Aedan likes to call himself magically handicapped.  Once he used a fireball scroll to summon a spark, which burnt the scroll, and he never tried magic again.  He can fire a bow, but not all that accurately, and he finds larger weapons far too unwieldy.
