But he was not all distant, when he is around those he considered friends- he was quite the fun companion. Always the joke cracker. He despises social media, and texting most, he sees himself as more of a Romantic person. He prefers face to face conversations, short ones, and hand written letters. He is quite clean and always has a certain fresh smell, though he keeps his hair untouched, always messy. Han was heterosexual, but he always saw beauty in other men- and pretty boys. But it never crossed appreciation, and became an interest.

Equipment / Abilities
Death Investigator Gift:

  Telekinesis.

It was as if he was born to be Telekinetic, but he preferred the name 'Mover' better. He was able to move around objects and matters as early as he was drafted into the DI program, and his ability increased throughout the years. Simple moves didn't consume much as he was already accustomed to the ability, but greater feats like lifting a Taxi Cab would make vulnerable to harm since he would not be focused on anything- but the object being moved. So far Han never tried to use his power on organic life, though he once tried it on a bug, he was able to lift it a few feets off the ground- at the cost of his nerves. He collapsed. He didn't know if wasn't allowed to use it on organics, or it needed more practice. He never used it on the living since. His memory seemed to fade as well when he prolonged the use of his ability, more moving around objects, more memories cast into oblivion.

Natural gifts:

Adept Hand to hand combat, knowledge of basic firearms use, and a reliable sense of wit. He was also known back in his living days as 'Lucky Han'. The universe seemed to bind to his favor, but no longer after his tragic death.

Weapon:

A retractable pocket baton. He'd acquired it from a fellow DI years ago as a token of gratitude. It was Han's handy favorite toy.

History
Years of service: 44 years.
Memory Retained:  4%

Occupation: Was a writer at a local magazine,
now unemployed after moving to Honk Kong.

Before DI:

Han was a well decorated private investigator back in the glorious 1960's, he would solve crimes like no other in his unit back in Brooklyn, New York. He was half American, half Japanese, but that didn't get in the way of excelling through the ranks. He was quite a sociable person. Then there was an incident that would stain his reputation, destroy his career, and then, there was a girl. That is all he could remember.
His own death barely touches his fading memories, but he remembered being murdered, by someone he once knew, whom face long gone been forgotten.

The DI intervention:

Han was offered a second chance- so to speak, and he accepted it. For years he would tag along numerous DI's and solve crimes that would baffle the living humans, he had his ups and downs, mostly lots of downs, and lonely nights. Recently Han was moved from his unit in Denver, Colorado to Hong Kong, on his personal request. He long loved to visit it, since he was a human, and he thought working there would at least lighten up his heart and soul a bit- should he have either of those. It's been a month since Han moved, and so far he liked it here in Honk Kong.

Regret:

Not making the best of his previous life, sure he was a shiny item back in the investigation firm in the days of the living, but he never quite achieved more- what more? He would ponder. And it would kill him every time he looked back.
