Biography:

In February of a beautiful year the Gestjemi royalty would welcome their last child into the world, a baby girl that they would name Amellae Silica.

Life would be fairly typical for the Princess Amellae for the first little while, spoiled and yet also taught strictly to be proper and everything like that.   Unfortunately because of how busy her parents always were from running the kingdom of course, she was often alone, except during the times that her elder siblings could spend time with her and she would grow closer to them then to her parents.  

During Amellae's 6th year, disaster would strike.  Her eldest sibling, the only boy of course was destined to be take the throne when their father stepped down, and her next eldest sibling the eldest princess had been married off to a prince of an allied kingdom and her elder sister was just coming of age to begin courting.  Because there was no other kingdoms that their family was wishing to ally with, the second youngest was allowed to court whoever she wanted.  And she would unfortunately choose someone who seemed great but in truth had alternative motives.  Kidnapping her, he would try to collect a ransom for her return.  But during the exchange, something would go wrong... and she would be killed.  This would have a terrible impact on the family, and especially on the Queen and King.  They would become incredibly overprotective of Amellae, trying to make sure that she would not have a similar thing happen to her.

So from her 6th year on, Amellae wasn't allowed to go anywhere pretty much without a guard at all times, or do things with people that they didn't know and insisted on meeting anyone she so much as wanted to be friends with.  This kind of pressure of course would make it so that those who might've wanted to be her friend run in the opposite direction.  And when she became of age, very few people would even want to try to court her.  

By the time Princess Amella turned 23 she wouldn't have found anyone out of those that had tried to court her appealing, not in any rush due to the elven lifespan and perhaps holding out for the ideal of love.  However, it would seem she would not get that chance....

Due to an evil dragon that demanded a sacrifice that the elven kingdom could do nothing about, they would have no choice but to give the dragon it's royal sacrifice.  And as much as they didn't want to, it would make most sense for it to be Amellae as she was the only unmarried one, and already into adulthood.  So as the day comes along, she lives in dread of what will happen to her...
