Synopsis
There is no such thing as a former Ranger


Description

Personality
Restless, determined and always on the move, there is nothing Yunawen hates more than inaction, which isn't to say that she can't be patient. In fact, she is very much so given her duty as a former Ranger, but since her skills and fellow Rangers have been rendered obsolete by the abolition of the law against hunting (one of Jorgen's first acts upon becoming king), she has been desperately searching for a new purpose in life, but for the decade or so spent wandering the land, she remains restless and unable to stay in one place for long. Life as a civilian simply does not suit her very well.

Having overseen two generations of Rangers and being the captain of the corps for half a century, Yunawen considers herself something of an elder sibling to all the other former members and as such tries to stay in touch with them, looking out for their welfare and helping wherever she can. To anyone else though, she is as aloof as a northerner and rejects company, but given enough time, she can warm up to someone eventually.

Generally speaking, she tries to remain positive and can even be described as jolly at times. This is a front to hide her bitterness with the fate of the Ranger corps, which has been a major part of her life, yet nonetheless she is good at taking things in stride whenever times are lean. However, she's also fickle and able to easily break attachments, save for the deepest ones. For those, she will simply never let go and when it comes between fond memories of the past and thinking about the future, she would prefer to reminisce.
