When he transforms, a ray of light comes from above and surrounds him until you cannot see his body, then the shadows around him shallow the light and cover him, soon after that all the darkness disolves and he is visible again.
Anthony was born in an almost wealthy family, his parents didn't have any problem relating money. He grew up in a big two-floor house, his room and his parents on the upper floor, his father's office and his mother's study on the lower one. His father was a bussiness man and he was busy all the time, so Anthony was raised by his mother.
His mother was a popular painter, not really famous but known. Her study was his playground when he was young and she taught him the beauty of color, light, shadow and paint.
A gorgeous garden surrounded the house, it was full of flowers all the year. At the age of eight, Anthony became interested on all the plants and how they grow. He bombed his mother with questions about flowers and trees. When he was 12, his mother gave him a little plant on his birthday and he spent hours watching it grow and taking care of it. Two years after, he decided that he wanted to study botanics. Thanks to his parents money he could enter one of the best universities and he finished his studies succesfully. By that time, he was in charge of the whole garden and he loved it.
And then, it happened. He woke up one day to a heavy silence, that was weird because his mother used to work on the mornings and she had the habit of singing while doing so. Not giving it too much importance he dressed and exited his room to have breakfast. It was then when he saw it, underneath his parents door a dark red liquid stained the floor. It was blood, blood soaked his parents bed. He runned downstairs and horror striked him again. His father's office was filled with blood, but for his desk. Something gleamed on it, he gathered enough courage to enter and came closer. On his father's desk there were two earrings and a note: "Don't lose your light. Love you, Mom and Dad."
