Quirks and scars: Burn scars on the palm of her left hand, a knife scar in the right thigh, and a scar from a bullet graze on her right shoulder. Freckled all over her body.

Some people would describer her as "tough but fair". She'd disagree. If it got her where she needed to go, Massi would be unfair in an instant. Ambitious and dedicated to her work, Massi actively makes sure that when she is assigned a task she knows everything she can possibly know about it before she does the job. Unfortunately that careful and fastidious aspect of her nature quite often hurts her in situations where she is forced to improvise.
In her personal life she keeps things clean and organised to military perfection. Her rooms are almost devoid of human touch, besides a well organised bookshelf full of non fiction books on nearly every subject.
She is quiet, and doesn't speak unless someone else speaks first or she has something deliberate to say. Often takes a couple of moments to mull over things before talking.
Those who know her well have said that she is coldly logical. Most of the time, she would agree.
Not averse to making friends, though some people find her intimidating to approach.

Trained as a police sniper, Massi's weapon of choice is the Heckler & Koch PSG1, but in closer combat she will use the M1911 pistol.
Kept well maintained, but not used, she has a coach gun that she says she inherited from her father who was a possum trapper in New Zealand.

A rural upbringing taught Massi to shoot a gun and not be scared of the things that go bump in the night. But it also made her isolated so that although she passed the physical and psychological examinations to join the army, her interview panel did not go well. Eventually she made it into the police force instead (though that was after she had moved to the UK) where she was trained as a police sniper and as part of a special armed response team.
Never having the people skills necessary to move up the police ranks, she became frustrated, and when offered the chance at a job with CANIS/DOGE she jumped at it.
