Personality
"True? Well, true to her name, she always, always tells the truth."
- Truthful
"...Even when it can sorta kinda hurt sometimes.
...A lot of times.
...Well, okay, most of the time, actually."
- Inconsiderate

True is an honest girl. She'll never lie nor will she hold back an answer from you. That's her strongest trait which could also be her weakest. So, be careful and mindful before you ask her anything, remember curiosity killed the cat and sometimes, there are some things that are better left unsaid. You want the truth? Make sure you can handle it.

"That girl? Well, I don't know her well, but once I ruined her book when I accidentally spilled my coke.
She didn't get mad or anything and then she went out of her way to buy me another can of coke."
- Forgiving
"...But when I said hi to her the next day, she just raised an eyebrow and asked if she knew me."
- Forgetful

True is one of those people who you won't anger easily. Patience is her virtue and she's one to easily forgive and forget. And by forgetting, it means, she would literally forget. She can never remember most of the things that happens to her in a day nor can she remember most of the people she encounters. She wonders if this was also one of the side effects of her power. But, really, no, she's just that forgetful.

"Ah, that Vines girl. An exceptional student. Never shy away from letting people know what's on her mind.
She's a delight to have in the class, really."
- Outspoken
"Wellll~ It's just... sometimes she gets... carried away
I guess there are such things as too much information, you know."
-Too outspoken

Having revealed her innermost deepest darkest thoughts to the world since she could form words in her mouth, True had long since forgotten the shame of speaking in a crowd. She tried representing her class as a public speaker once but that didn't go well since she couldn't bring herself to stick to the script and just couldn't resist adding her own personal thoughts and opinions to her talk.

Equipment / Abilities
Truth teller
Well, you see, here's the thing. I can make you tell the truth. If I 'ask' - no, not like asking you the normal way, there's an on and off switch you see, so it only works when I want it to work - then you will answer me with nothing but the truth. Comes in handy when I'm helping out the cops to dig out some top secret information. Or when I'm helping out some girls to see whether their boyfriends are seeing some other girl - or guy - behind their back.

The catch is, well, I guess you'd probably guess, right? I can't lie. Ever. So, when I'm daydreaming at class and the teacher asks me what's on my mind, I spent the remaining time blurting out whatever it was that had crossed my mind starting from the moment she entered the class until the last bell rang.

History
Dear Dan,

So, the parents enrolled me in Brimstone.
I don't really know much about it except that it used to be two different campus now merged into one.
And I honestly - Haha, get it? -  don't know anyone there.
Mom says I can make new friends when I get there.
Because I'm obviously a grand delight to be with. Ha ha.
I was tempted to make her tell me the real reason why she's transferring me but I guess maybe I preferred to be ignorant of the truth for once.
I know more than anyone how much the truth can hurt.
So, fingers crossed and wish me luck.
Pray that I don't cause another riot while I'm there.

Love, True.

Born and raised in the upper west side of Manhattan, Trudy Vines is the only daughter of Rob and Meredith Vines. She's your typical american girl next door. She had a rough childhood, being called "little trudy two shoes" for always ratting out to the teachers. She never did do it intentionally, the teacher asked and so she answered. So, it's a given that she's always left out on pretty much everything that the kids planned. Not that she cared. Nope, not at all.
Oh, who is she kidding? Of course she cares. And Trudy being Trudy, made herself quite clear about that to her peer of preschoolers and confronted them with her power, making quite a scene with the parents and teachers ('Say NO to bullying' was a thing then and Trudy used that to her full benefit to make sure she's never left out again).

Years passed, and as time went by, she actually met a few bunch who was genuinely okay with her truth telling and actually enjoyed her company. That's what people call 'friends', right? And the guys from the police stations and people from the Oh! gossip magazine seemed to appreciate her power too. Although she can't say the same about the celebs she had encountered. So, anyway, one day she made a dare with her friends that she'll use her power during the Principal's opening speech at the beginning of the year. A truthful Principal and a hall filled with two thousand kids... Let's just say it wasn't pretty. Guess that's when her parents decided she needed some "proper training" with her power. Signed, sealed, deliver, hello, Brimstone.
