"A woman is like a tea bag - you can't tell how strong she is until you put her in hot water." - Eleanor Roosevelt
Family: William Montemorano (father), Cheryl Montemorano (mother), Johnathan Montemorano (oldest brother), and Benjamin Montemorano (second oldest brother).
History: Born during a blizzard, the fair skinned child was left alone and abandoned in a rundown apartment building. Screaming at the top of her lungs, the baby's cry was finally heard by a passerby by the name of William Montemorano. Being a pharmacist, he knew the child needed immediate medical attention (although anyone could have figured that out as she was practically purple). Believe it or not, his wife, just the day before, had lost her own child. Grieving over the loss of their baby girl, William wandered into the room with the frozen baby in his hands. It was a quick exchange with their eyes that brought an everlasting smile to Cheryl's face. Taking the child in as her own, the family decided on a name and they adopted her in a heartbeat.
Ashe grew up living a great life. She wasn't rich, but she certainly wasn't a middle class liver. Her parents had money and they often spoiled their children with nice things. Ashe grew up with a lot of lessons and private tutors. She got everything she wanted - a horse, a puppy, a cat, a piano, a TV for her room, etc. - and then some.
When she was finally of a proper age, her parents delivered the news of how they came to possess her and this shattered Ashe. Running away, Ashe began to look for her mother. When all seemed lost, the girl stumbled upon a woman whose motherly love was enough to encourage Ashe to push onward in her searching. Little did she know, the woman she was with was actually her mother.
For the next three years, Ashe and this woman grew close. One day, the woman vanished, leaving only a note to the now twelve-year-old Ashe. The note encouraged the girl to return to her parents and to apologize for her running away. With tear-filled eyes, Ashe obeyed the woman's command, but not without taking the necklace and putting it around her neck. Although Ashe would miss her deeply, she knew that the dragon gem stone would forever remind her of the kind woman.
Upon her return home, Ashe was greeted with open arms and great sobs of joy. It was then when she realized that the Montemoranos were her family even though they shared different blood. Smile on her face, the girl grew up to be the perfect child. She obeyed her parents and never rebelled. For a time (about three years), she was sent to a private Catholic school, but she soon begged to return to the public school system.
Graduating at the top of her class (she was Valedictorian), Ashe received a full ride scholarship to Postrema City College. Although her heart longed to attend a university in New York, the girl decided to attend Postrema because she knew the clinic near the college was lacking student workers. With a heart as pure as gold, Ashe enrolled in the program and continued to hold her GPA at about a 3.8 (out of 4.0). She now works for the clinic as she goes into her forth year at the college. She loves the decision she made and can't be any happier.
