Colonel, commander of 1st company and entire Raiders regiment

58 years old, 6' tall and built like an ox. Lucas has never slowed down on his training sessions at the gym and it shows. There are a number of scars all over his body, but apart from a hip replacement and a metal plate on the side of his skull, his body is entirely free of prosthetics or cybernetics. His eyes are brown, hair is grey, there is a scar over his left eye (from shrapnel) and three long ones over the right side of his head (where the metal plate is), received from hard contact with the edge of a dragon's scale.

Commanding, stern and brutally honest. This is a man who has seen the very worst dragons have to offer and if he thinks you're going to die in battle, he will not hesitate to say exactly so. He knows he is experienced, he knows he will survive a mission and if you listen to him, you might too. He hates mavericks and risk takers, despite being one himself, and has much disdain for the young and incompetent. In spite of all this however, he WILL look after you in battle and (if he thinks you deserve it) out as well. Just don't ever actually ask for his help, because it annoys the piss out of him. To those he counts as peers, he is highly companionable and an A-grade drinking buddy, but still relentlessly straightforward (which some would consider as part of his 'charm').

Knows every trick in the book when it comes to fighting dragons and has even added a few paragraphs to it, but his favoured tactic after three decades of active combat duty continues to be closing in as fast as possible to deliver a killing strike, relying on pure skill and reflex to avoid attacks. Heavily favouring melee combat, his marksmanship has suffered correspondingly and any long ranged shots from buster gun or heavy weaponry is very likely to miss. This is just as well since Lucas prefers fighting in the air than on the ground, contrary to what basic tactics and common sense would dictate, but he is an absolute wizard with the Slayer Gear's jet boosters so he can get away with it.
