Synopsis
A betrayed inquisitor trying to find his path to forgiveness and carving his place in a world that he once judged as beneath him.

Description
Tall and muscular, Lazirius has obviously seen his fare share of battles. His unkempt brown hair and glazed brown eyes tell the story of a man who's made his fare share of mistakes. A demeanor of solid stone any onlooker might think him a decorated war veteran. He usually always has some sort of weapon attached to his belt which just adds to his "stone wall" appearance. Usually donned in armor he always wears a cloak. When not in armor he prefers plain black and brown for his tunics and trousers. He is only 34 years of age and has many more years left in him if he has anything to say about it.

Personality
Some might think that Lazirius is cold hearted and cruel. This may be slightly true as his moral code is a bit askew. As a royal inquisitor of many years he learned from a young age that most people just don't deserve his mercy. If they had done nothing wrong in the first place then they would never even have met him. Rebels, bandits, fugitives, thieves, anybody who broke the law or even thought wrong of the royal family and their domain was quickly found and "dealt with" by the inquisitors. Although he holds no remorse for ones hes killed Lazirius does have a deep sense of loyalty and honor. If you are his friend he would never betray you under any circumstances. In fact, his loyalty to the royal family had once gotten him a seat at the dining table with Prince Aritus. He's still loyal to the family and the only reason he does not still serve them is because of his betrayal. His past life has taken its toll on his mental well being and he's emotionally scarred from the backstabbing ways of his so called "brothers." He wishes nothing more than to find his way once more, determining if his outlook is right or wrong. He questions himself and his own decisions on a daily basis not sure what is correct or incorrect anymore. After he finds his moral path once more he would like to seek his place in this world once again, unable to return to his previous life.

Equipment / Abilities
Lazirius is skilled in many forms of martial combat but he is most proficient with a bastard sword, able to wield it two handed or one handed switching back and forth in the middle of battle causing confusion in his enemies and giving him the ability to adapt to most any combat situation. He's also not too shabby with bows and cross bows. As a high ranking officer in the inquisition Lazirius was later given the task of studying the arcane arts, as all lord inquisitors are required to better their efficiency for the royal family. Lazirius has a way with getting information out of people, obtained from years of hunting down the kingdoms most well hidden enemies.

History
Lazirius grew up in the royal palace. His father was a royal guardsman and his mother was part of the High court, a group of mages who give the royal family guidance. Growing up in such an environment he quickly grew an affinity for the royal family and his kingdom. As soon as he was able he got his father to talk a high inquisitor into letting him join the inquisition. As their newest member his fierce loyalty and training from his father helped him quickly gain the attention of the order. Soon enough he was given the rank of "Inquisitor" and given all rights attached. He spent most of his life hunting down traitors and heretic; helping the kingdom out in any way he possibly could. After years of service he was promoted to high inquisitor and with it given the responsibility of learning more of the arcane arts. He enlisted the help of an old elvish friend but after three years spent training and studying he was no longer allowed to stay. His friend saw his actions and demeanor as outrageous and extremely ridiculous. Feeling betrayed by his so called friend he went back to his business, studying and training on his own. When he returned to the royal castle and the order he was met with the ends of swords and foul words. Unbeknownst to him the Lord inquisitor had been killed in his sleep and he had been framed for his murder, his absence pushing the case along even further. Before he could be thrown in jail he slipped his way out of the city. After years of running from the inquisition he finally set up his own death. The inquisition now think him to be dead and the man he was no longer exists.
