Synopsis
The Juggernaut of the North

Description

Name: Vornil Polaris
Age: 23
Gender: Male
Side: Barbarian
Hair color: Black
Eye Color: Brown
Height: 6'2"
Body type: Muscular

Personality
Vornil was caring and protective. He loved to talk with his people and was always helping out. Despite being a battle hardened warrior he had a softer side when in his village. He was a guardian of his people. He was well liked and respected. Until he went on a hunting trip for a week. When he came back his entire tribe was destroyed and it seriously took its toll on his personality. He is still the same caring and protective person but now he has covered that person with a rage and harshness unlike any other. He has a hate for all the Knights but is forced to put aside his rage and hatred to fight the Nightspawn. While distant and hate-filled, He will defend any Barbarian whether they are in the wrong or not. Despite this he is still harsh and rough with all people. However, if he cares enough about you then you will see him become the soft, caring, and protective person he once was. None have yet gotten this close to him. He is however looking for someone to claim as wife to rebuild his tribe.

Equipment / Abilities
Tribal Broadsword: A Broadsword as long as he is tall -inherited from his people.
Tribal Armor: Armor of his tribe that allows mobility but with minimal protection.
Enduring Rage: Varnil's rage allows him to withstand an amazing amount of wounds. He is able to take normally fatal wounds as if it were a small scratch. Although he can take several wounds when he is not in combat and his rage isn't burning these wounds take a serious toll on him. He is not invincible in combat but it does take several normally fatal wounds to kill this juggernaut.
Strength of the Tribe: When Varnil's Tribe was massacred their spirits infused Varnil with an unnatural strength. This strength allows him to cleave through several enemies at once. He can lift more than any other man he has come across. He can lift entire oxen and continue running. This ability allows him to kill several enemies in one swing of his massive Broadsword.
Tribal Knowledge: Varnil has the knowledge of his tribes history and the knowledge of war tactics and techniques passed on from his elders before their death. This allows him to be a very powerful warrior
Tribal Learning: Varnil has learned very little as a Barbarian. He can not read or write. And only knows basic math for war purposes. He knows war and hunting but very little of anything else

History
When the Knights began their conquest the barbarians were unprepared. Many tribes fell in the beginning. Entire villages were destroyed in the night. Vornil's village was one of these. As the first tribe to fight against the Knights, they were hopelessly outmatched. The entire tribe was terminated almost over night. Vornil came back from a hunting trip to find that his whole tribe was destroyed with not even a single child surviving. Over the next years of the war he became a one man army against the Knights. Using guerrilla warfare, unnatural strength and fighting ability, and the rage from the memory of their crime, he killed the battalion responsible for destroying his tribe single-handed. He discovered the strength of his tribe flowed through his veins and that his rage made normally fatal wounds barely hinder him. Over the next several years he became a large part in the war effort against the Knights. Due to his "fighting alone" attitude and his skill at destroying Knights he became a legend on both sides despite not associating with the other barbarians. When the meteor struck he only survived due to his rage's ability to keep him alive. As the Nightspawn attacked he fought with everything he had and still almost didn't survive. Barely escaping the Nightspawn, he came across other survivors, Knights and Barbarians alike. Realizing the threat of Nightspawn he knows they must put aside their differences and work together to defeat this new enemy. But is it possible to forget what the Knights did to his people, or how the other Barbarians refused to help?
