A tall, calm woman with a general air of chilling serenity about her. She carries herself with a decent amount of pride, but only due to confidence in her own talents. Her skin is dark brown, and her two eyes are a brilliant blue. Many people assume she wears contacts, but these are actually her natural eye color.
Her black hair is tightly curled.
Personality
Generally, Sly is a very calm woman and tends to creep people out with her outright lack of normal human responses to scary or stressful situations. She never seems to be affected by stress, nor does she have any "fight or flight" response to danger (other than what would logically be necessary). Rumors have often been spread that she is actually a robot, but since she has the medical records to prove otherwise, those rumors get crushed rather quickly.
To the GPN, she is often treated more like a tool than any kind of human being due to this robot-like mental durability, and is very rarely seen doing anything that isn't work related, other than sleeping or eating. Being this logical person that she is, she doesn't have the normal amount of fear or loathing towards the creatures that the GPN contains. She sees them as simply performing functions they were naturally supposed to do because of the way they were built.
Equipment / Abilities
Sly is one of the GPN's top biologists, and in this sense, means she'll often find herself doing things that involve strangling giant carnivorous plants, sticking strange objects into the mouths of even stranger creatures, etc, etc... Sly is used study hostile organisms, contain hostile organisms without killing them and the medical treatment of said hostile organisms when it is required.
Sly has proven herself to be a very capable doctor, and also treats some of the stranger injuries people may receive from working with these creatures. Can decently operate a handgun, but nothing beyond basic self-defense training issued to all people working for GPN.
History
Sly grew up in the deep South, surprisingly, a normal child. She was raised by her grandparents, as her parents were often overseas (they both were in the military). When it was revealed that they were killed, all she felt was a dull pang of unhappiness, as her parents became more of an abstract concept to her than a physical thing that existed.
However, when her grandmother started losing her memory, Sly simply didn't know what was going on. Her grandfather was very secretive about the issue, and she started seeing less and less of her grandmother. In a few years the woman was put in a home. The old man became cold, and Sly simply retreated into her studies.
She was a wonderful student, getting straight-A's, gathering the attention of nearly everyone. Everyone told her what potential she had, how she was going to get into a top college... She would have become a normal doctor, if it weren't for that one day. She had ventured into the local wooded areas in search of a particular plant for her chemistry class.
She found something else.
To this day, all interrogation of her in regards to what she found have been ineffective. But whatever it was, it changed her personality for good. Having once been a cheerful, rather hardworking and studious girl, she was now nothing more but a cold shadow of her former self.
