Personality
Chess is very playful and mischievous. He loves turning people around and confusing them. He really cares for the hatter and Alice and all his friends, ,but he has never felt love. Never been in love or felt it. He wonders if there is something wrong with him.

He can disappear and is a magnificent thief.

For all we know he just appeared in Wonderland one day.
