Personality
He is cold, tough and Strict with the men under him and Loyal to the King even in his death. Anyone from the royal guardsmen knew if even jokingly they talked bad about the king, his son or this kingdom in front of him, they would be down on the ground out cold.
He is not a man with bad intentions in fact when he was younger he was told he was too soft even with his size to be a guardsmen, but fate changed that. He treats his men as if they were dogs while on duty or training but he is also very protective of them and their families, he keeps tabs on all of them and if one of them is trouble a unknown hand is there to help.

Equipment / Abilities
He is not a fancy man he wears strong armor but none that would impair his movement, Reach or sight. The inside of his armor is coated with the fer of a bear, He does not know any magic as a young guardsmen he attempted these feats but found he had no skill in it.

The name of his axe is Feargach

History
As a young guardsmen with his size and strength he found a wife quickly and already had a daughter before he was even fully fledged guardsmen. While away from duty ((on leave on vacation whatever sounds right and works for this)) he was with his family in their home which was at the edge of a village, during the day he went out to chop wood since he had the time.

While on his way back pulling a sled full of wood he heard screams and yells, at his house stood a giant bear standing up almost as tall as his house roaring. Villages were trying to fight it off but 3 men were already on the ground dead or injured and the bear's mouth was covered in blood. He still had his sword on him in case anything attacked him while he was out of the village. So he charged at the bear and slashed it's side the bear quickly turned its attention to him. It swung at him repeatedly dropping back to all fours to charge and then back on two to swing and bite and try to kill him, pushing (character's name) back while he slashed and dodged. The villagers knowing he was a guardsman stopped helping, sure he could handle this and not wanting to die themselves.

The fight continued but then bear caught (character's name)'s left shoulder and slashed down to his chest Knocking him to the ground before he was pounced on, he thrust his sword into the Bear's chest on the left side, the bear recoiled and fell to the side breaking his sword. The bear started to get up as well as him he looked around quickly for anything and was almost on top of his sled, he grabbed his axe and turned to find the bear almost on him again charging him. He jumped to the right almost falling but he caught him self and as the bear stopped and started to turn off balance because of the blade inside it, he brought down the axe on it's neck once then twice over and over. Before he had stopped from his adrenaline, will to live and his blind rage he had swung that axe into the bears neck 20 times almost cutting it's head clear off.

He stumbled back to the village with applause and cheers but only wanted to see his family and stumbled into his house to find that the bear had came into village starving and found it's meal in his home, he picked up his daughter hoping some how she was still alive but her neck, face and torso were barely there. Holding her he walked over to his wife's body on the ground covered in blood she was still clinging onto a metal fire poker with a slash across her face and neck, near the (fireplace stove whatever they might have had that fits the bill). He fell down next to her crying out in pain and sorrow, the next two weeks he spent in the infirmary at the keep blank faced as if he had no soul.

After that day he was no longer a soft man, not even a man who talked to others unless needed. He still used a sword because of the drills and routines but he never trusted them and learned how to use an axe better than the veterans used swords. He never showed to much emotion except for in battle every fight in his mind the fight with the bear, a fight he knows will never save his family. In battle people looked at him, the rage in his eyes and feared him as a demon.

He turned his entire life into combat and his duty he rose through the ranks like no one had ever seen before. The king even granted him the Title of "Demon Bear of the North" the named did not make him happy but then he filled his life with his rage so this was just one more thing to keep him strong, keep him from ever losing a battle again even if it is with death itself.
