Say what you will about Felix, he will always put you in your place. If he doesn't talk you down with his superior intellect, his bodyguards will put the pummel you in no time. Underneath his pretty boy face and genteel disposition, is a relentless and remorseless business man whose main goal is to take down or buy out all other technological companies. Although he is a father and a husband, it doesn't mean he is well-off in either category. He calls himself 'family oriented' (exempting a certain sibling) they are merely accessories to further his popularity and publicity in his travels. Everything he does, he does for himself. He'd walk over anyone just for more time in the limelight, and has on numerous occasions. His only source of fuel is his own ego, and if anybody tries to burst his bubble while he's admiring himself in its sheen, there will be hell to pay. Because he who has the money, has the power.

But, most have never seen that side of Felix. What the public sees is a polite and mannerly gentleman type with a beautiful family. He donates constantly to charities (though the amounts are disclosed or exaggerated), and takes part in community projects, or at least his robotic workers do. He is meticulous in his work and perfects everything he creates, from cell phones to fully-functioning realistic robots. People would die to have him as a dinner guest, he always brings culture to any table, as if he was some sort of royal figure. Regardless of whether or not he refuses to eat broccoli without exactly three stems. His courteous and social nature is always a delight at any feast. He's wants only what is best for his adoring fans, which is of course his high-end products and services. His hardworking behavior is obviously the only complimenting factor to his tremendous wealth.
Woman want him, and men want to be him. Yes, it seems Felix is just the perfect person. At least, that's what he convinces people to tell him.

Equipment / Abilities
Cane Gun

Approximately three feet in length, steel, with an pseudo-oak finish. A lion's head serves as the handle, with a protruding curved tongue. The bottom of the cane have four protruding 'hooks' that seem to serve as traction on slippery surfaces.  Lead pellets are fed through the back of the lion's head and are fired by squeezing the tongue. It sprays much like a shot gun when discharged. It can be detached at a length of one foot, the remaining two feet can be then used as a parry rod or a spear.

Magic Detector*

A small device developed by Felix himself, used to detect a magic user within a two hundred feet radius. It is painfully attached to the temporal lobe of the brain allowing the wearer to feel a 'tapping' sensation when magic is used or a user is nearby. This sensation grows stronger the closer the person gets until they are within eye sight. The rhythm of the tapping changes depending on how many are in the area, and can even give the general location so as long as there aren't too many. Damage to the wearer's senses do not affect the effectiveness of the device. However electronic interference such as EMPs or fields of static electricity can shut down the device until the wearer is out of the area. If it is somehow destroyed while still in the brain, it can cause amnesia, blindness, deafness, or even death. Only a handful of the devices are in use, primarily residing within the heads of Felix's body guards and certain wealthy members of the technology industry and liberation front.

*Though this still exists in the aforementioned, the detector in Felix's head was destroyed after opening a mysterious, magic book.

Money Makes the Man

What good is money if it's not being used? Felix's vast wealth can help him in any planned or strategic situation. He can build essentially what he wants, when we wants (within reasonable bounds). He has employees working around the clock to insure his health, security and well being. Guns? Helicopters? Stretch Limos? Armed Security? He's got it all. Of course, it all makes up for his lack of arms and combat training. If he is in any sort of physical danger, which he's unable to escape from, it's not hard for him to call in police, military or even personal soldiers at the push of a button. Though he's got a few tactics for ambushes, or situations where he is taking by surprise, if it wasn't planned, he's usually caught off guard and his money can't help him. Things such as planned attacks, espionage, and leaked information he can prepare for in advance. Bribery is also a useful method.

History
Felix grew up in North America with his younger sibling. His parents were wealthy business owners, focusing in the technology industry. Though magic had existed in his lineage, unlike his brother, he had not inherited any special abilities. Just money.
His childhood was pretty standard for a non-magic user. It wasn't until his early teens that he took an interest in his father's company and began working for him on a product assembly line. He completed high school two years early as an honor student, and studied artificial intelligence and computer technology in college, where he again, graduated early on the Dean's list. It was his complete lack of faith in the education system that encouraged him to begin building robotic teaching-aids, which were a huge success and slowly started infiltrating schools all over the world (beginning in remote European countries). This was all done before the age of twenty. Shortly after the robots were dispatched, Felix began work on robotic teachers, capable of educating students and grading them 125% faster than an average university professor. And yet again, it was a major success. The only schools that did not adopt the robotic teaching method were schools of magic (at the time, culturally accepted).
At the age of twenty five, Felix's father and mother died under mysterious circumstances. The cause of deaths were investigated, but ultimately turned up nothing. The case file was never opened again, and remained relatively unknown to the public.
Felix inherited his parents' fortune, Tormod Family Industries, and his family's hatred for magic users. His brother was written out of their will a few years prior, at the recommendation of Felix. He was able to make the company expand faster than it ever did before, it was thriving and ranked in the top five technological industries in the world. His robotic teachers were no longer clunky, over-sized eye-sores, they were now fully functioning cyborgs that looked, sounded, and even felt human, all capable of free thought and actions. But the magic schools still refused to budge on their stance on human educators. Until a very generous bribe 'persuaded' an individual on the magic committee in North America to convince his peers of the great success of the robots. The cyborgs were finally being integrated into schools of magic in the Eastern hemisphere.
Technology was fast expanding, and TFI was riding its bandwagon to the bank. The outlawing of magic in the United States prompted Felix to create and fund a campaign praising the benefits of technology and the evils of magic. It was, like everything he's ever done, a great success. It only served to feed his ego, and his wallet further. The collapse of magic had begun.

Felix is now married to a beautiful wife, and they have a lovely daughter currently attending private school. Everything would be perfect for him, but his personal spies had given word to him of an organization bent on bringing magic back into the mainstream. Now, Tormod Family Industries will see to leading the war on magic, and on the destruction of The Brotherhood of Magic.
