Kirby is a rather quiet man who tends to keep to himself outside of his work as the Father of Saint Dymphna's Church. Though this doesn't stop him from helping those in need; small donations to the homeless, a lost child, someone crying. Generally, he's open-minded, kind, and helpful, but somethings bother him more than others.His mood has changed in the past several months as the mass suicides and disappearances abound, his cheery disposition gave way to a more grim one as he puts to rest those who have passed and console those in grieving. It has taken a toll on him physically, mentally and spiritually, leaving him exhausted and melancholic. Although he still carries a friendly and compassionate atmosphere, it is slowly fading. The less hope he has for those missing, the more he considers joining those who have given up. God will forgive him, right? 

As a human, Kirby posses no special abilities. As a priest however, he does have the 'supernatural' power to bless objects, people, etc. and perform exorcisms. Also he believes himself to have the skill to detect angels, represented by golden auras, and demons, represented by red ones. He usually keeps a small vial of holy water on a chain around his neck. 

A broken home, a 'demonic' attack that left his body scarred, the lack of faith of those in his community, all these things led him to be the man he is today. 

Growing up, his parents spent more time at the 'clubs' and 'shows' than raising their three young children. Kirby, being the oldest of his siblings, a sister and a brother, took care of them the best he could with his limited resources. Before he was old enough to get a job, he resorted to stealing when the cupboards became bare. He was caught only once, but the event ended in social services coming and relocating and separating the children. It was rumored that his brother fell into drug use and landed in jail, and his sister took her life in her early twenties. 
He however, was raised by a strict and abusive religious foster family. 
His foster home was burned down through mysterious circumstances, Kirby insisted a demon had visited the house in the night and possessed the father to tie him and the mother up and set fire to the place, but no one believed him. He also claims an angel protected him from being killed, placing him outside the building before it collapsed. His only injury was a severe third degree burn along his chest and stomach, which he recovered from. 
He devoted his life since then to God, became an alter boy and made his way to a priest. He moved from his original community to avoid the 'demonic' presence he felt there and established Saint Dymphna's Catholic Church. He has worked in this new town for fifteen years, and is a revered Father.
