Jake Septhorn

The Mayor's son. Even he has his own secrets.

Jake is tall and slender for his age, with a thin frame and not a very muscular build. He's a little on the pale side, and his skin bruises easily; ever since he was a child, his hair has always been a light gray/white tone. He keeps his hair short and relatively tamed. His eyes, too, are gray. He looks to be on his early twenties.

He can be a short tempered, spoiled little brat when he wants to. He's rather easy to annoy. He was raised in a sheltered environment, and is rather used to have things done his way, when he wants; so when things don't come out as expected or as he wants, or things get terribly delayed, he can get quite angry. Despite his volatile personality, he can actually be a really kind-hearted type of guy if you strike his fancy.
Usually, Jake is very obedient of the laws and of his father, but he's also tenacious, and when something gets in his head he will not stop until he has his way.
His dream is to one day see the sky as it was before of the event that darkened it, for he's only seen it in pictures.

Hardly to be called an 'ability', Jake is a highly influential character because he is the Mayor's son. His father doesn't always listen to him, but he can sometimes move strings on his own if need be to accomplish goals that are to his convenience.
As for actual abilities, Jake has none. Sheltered and with a group of people always around to his beck and call, he's never needed to do anything for himself.
His tenacity can sometimes be considered an ability, however, as well as his intelligence.

He is the only son of Andrew Septhorn, the mayor of Svalentia. He was born and raised in the city, a brilliant child (a prodigy some said), sheltered from the world and with a group of people to do as he pleased, whenever he pleased. He's never lacked in anything, was given the best education, the right "friends", the right job along with his father when he became of age... What he was not given was his parent's love.
His mother died at birth, and his father never showed much affection towards him.
