"I haven't really thought about this much, to be perfectly honest. But I guess something that is relaxing and that doesn't involve anybody aside from my date... I don't like distractions very much."

"A sunny relaxing day without a distraction or worry from the world."

"Sometimes I like to people watch. Just sit on a bench somewhere and observe the world and people around me."

"Isn't that a little personal? I guess somebody that is comfortable with their body and sexuality."

"Our system is corrupt, unjust and run by complete hacks."

"You could say that. But I've learned my lesson... Not to believe in something as corrupt as the Holy Empire of Brittannia."


Equipment / Abilities
IN A TEAM, ARE YOU A LEADER OR A FOLLOWER? 
"I'm definitely a follower. Hah - It's too stressful trying to lead anything other then a horse."
DO YOU HAVE A MACHINA? IF SO, WHAT KIND?
"I do, but it's one of my more unnecessary assets." 
Ferris handles a fire based Machina, and although the ability isn't handled directly, it aids him while using his gun-blade, because part of the Machina is etched into the hilt of his weapon.
DO YOU OWN A WEAPON? IF SO, WHAT KIND?
"What kinds would be more of an accurate point. I handle various devices. My steel gun-blade is the main weapon I carry with me at all times, but I am skilled in many types of weapons; both fire-arms and blades; throwing knives and archery; staffs and whips (on occasion)."
When Ferris was with the Imperial Guards he was given extensive weapons and physical combat training.
PLEASE EXPLAIN YOUR PHYSICAL CAPABILITIES AND MACHINA ABILITY. 
Ferris is a broad and hulking man. Even when he was a young man he was tossing bails of hay like they were nothing. Ferris isn't completely agile and speedy but he can take a beating without it draining him completely. His pain tolerance is very high and his metabolism allows him to eat quite a lot of food without him gaining too many extra pounds -- not that it would do much difference. 
His Machina Ability stems from carved crimson material in the hilt of his gun-blade, and although he might not realize  -or even consider- how much he taps into the power: it is an asset to his attack strength when using this weapon. Ferris still has the ability to use his fire based magics when he is not equip with this weapon, but it is much more powerful when the gun-blade is being wielded. The Machina provides that extra kick to his strike when being used.


History

"I would describe my position as the muscle behind the operation."
WHAT IS THE WORST JOB YOU HAD EVER HAD?
"I would say an Imperial Guard, but it really wasn't that horrible. At least until, well... I don't really want to talk about that."
WHAT IS THE BEST JOB YOU HAD EVER HAD?
"When I was pretty young, I worked on a ranch, tending the stables."
WHERE IS YOUR IDEAL HONEYMOON?
"Anywhere relaxing and intimate."
WHAT IS YOUR IDEAL WEDDING? 
"A private service with the right woman."

"That depends on who you ask, really." 



Extra
  • Once upon a time, The Guard worked within the ranks of the Imperial. He patrolled the streets of London, kept watch at the towers, and dragged in protestors by the ears. He was a strong supporter of Her Holy Empress and, like her, believed in a future where Britannia brought peace and prosperity to the world. 

  • Until, of course, reality waltzed into his life and, with its trusty disillusionment hammer, shattered the dream. He witnessed, first hand, as members of the Rose Guards entered homes and seized children from their parents—dragged them screaming bloody murder into the back of carriages. He had no idea what the Rose Guards did with the children—some were no older than five—but he didn't need concrete answers to guess. 

  • Eventually, life within the Imperial Guards became too much and he quit. He hung up his uniform and left to lead a simple life in the country or something to that effect. The problem was: He never left the city. He stayed—all packed up—at inns, at hostels, and at wherever he could board for the evening. 

  • But then he met The Phantom. The Phantom offered The Guard a way to atone for his sin and, well, that sounded nice. So, within the month, The Guard started working and plotting with The Order. He listens closely toThe Phantom, but he is often at odds with The Ghost. He doesn't understand The Ghost, but, then again, he also doesn't understand whyThe Key is allowed into the faction either.  

  • He is at least 24, but can be no older than 32.  

  • The Guard was never very good with his Machina (Fire), but he makes up for it with his physical combat skills.
