Synopsis
A well-honed blade of a girl, with a calm, grounded exterior and too many soft spots...


Description
Tall, unusually so, pushing 6 feet, and more whenever she chooses to wear her high heels, Melissa isn't a stand out for much else. More of a simple beauty, that lets her insides carry out her attractiveness rather than waste her time with cosmetics.  She has medium length brunette hair, cut in long layers that tapper around her soft face. Her almond shaped eyes are a rich chocolate brown with amber flecks that always seem to pick up the sunlight. Melissa's frame is very thin, and a tad lanky; it's little surprise that she has poor circulation to her toes.  

As far as her typical attire, she dresses fairly casually. A pair of jeans (dark-wash boot cut or skinny), a polo or graphic shirt, flats, and a jacket. She always wears her class ring, and a white-gem cross her mother gave her. Her favorite color is blue, and will thus be found most commonly in that color. 


Personality
Melissa is a very deep and complex individual, with what she believes are simple needs. She's good with people, and tends to be most of her friends and family's confidant and councilor. She does tend to get a bit worked up from time to time, when caught up in more than she can cope with at a time, or just in generally high stress situations. And her overly-compassionate nature causes her to take on more than she should a lot of the time. 

She's very quick witted and the sarcastic type that can roll with the punches. She can also be goofy and silly with her good friends--especially when they need a good cheering up or she's just that high on sugar. Overall, Ms. Ashecroft tries to be as good-natured as possible, and remains absolutely genuine with everyone she meets. 


Equipment / Abilities
Her MacBook Pro and Intuos 4 tablet are her normal weapons on choice. Though of course, she's been known to wield a Singer sewing machine and a boffer sword from time to time. ( ;p ) Also, an iPhone 5, complete with OtterBox case attached at her hip for all her texting, solitaire, and music needs. Just don't call her, she probably won't answer.  

Beyond her talents, she contains all the normal powers and abilities of your average human adult female; though, perhaps with a higher propensity for worrying and emotional stress. Though, if one were to say she had any special abilities at all, one might call her an empath of sorts. She's always been acutely aware of the emotions of those around her, and what makes them tick, sometimes better than they know of themselves.
