Biography:

Born on July 30, 1994, she was as all Dreamers are at the start, completely a Dreamer.  Her parents loved and adored her, naming their only child Michelle Carmen Daryen.

For the first few years of Michelle's life things were good, however it wouldn't take long to change.  Because of the fact that Michelle was a Dreamer, born to a pair of Normals, their instinctual dislike for her kind would eventually overwhelm their instinctual love for their child.  Of course not enough to despise her or anything of the sort.  But they began to withdraw as soon as it was possible to, each years emotionally further and further.  Her life  became devoid of love and support from her family.  But at least she had the support of other Dreamers, the Awakened and Naturals back then, people she could be friends with.

However the day would come when she would become a Dream-Walker, and that would be the worst day in her entire life.  Michelle was 8 years old and was best friends with a Natural girl,although she was of coruse unaware of this fact.  But they truly were close and knew basically everything about each other.  And her friend's family were of course Naturals and accepting of her, so her best friend's family became like a surrogate family to her in a large way.

As usual Michelle had been spending the day with her best friend and her best friend's family, and they had left town to go to a special place for Michelle's birthday the next town over because Hohissta was too small to have much.  It had been a wonderful day, friends and her surrogate family altogether, celebrating and having fun.  Unfortunately, tragedy would strike on the drive home... a drunk driver lost control of their car and smashed into the car that Michelle and her best friend's family was in.  Nobody would survive the crash, except for Michelle and none of them would die quickly.  A slow death, she had to watch them die, only surviving because her best friend had the reflexes to protect her and help her shield herself.  In doing so however her death was assured.

It was in this crash, that she would become a Dream-Walker, and the start of her belief in the supernatural and magical.  But also the start of becoming a pariah, as well as nightmares that would plague her for many years to come and still do occassionally.

Also unfortunately since Hohissta is such a small place the rare chance that there was no one soul-connected to her became a reality, same with the nearby small towns that surround the small city.  As well due to the age of when she became a Dream-Walker it increased the difficulty of the closest soul-connected Natural to seek her out.

Currently to this day, her Guide has yet to find her, and she has become used to the fact that everyone in her life dislikes her and treats her badly at worst, or ignores her at best.  Even those that she makes friends with always eventually leave her and as such she's developed an emotional shell about herself, projecting an arrogant defense.

Most often, Michelle can be found with her headphones in her ears and a book in front of her to try and keep herself occupied and out of people's attention due to the cruelty that others have inflicted on her.  Ideally she wishes to be left alone because she expects only bad treatment.  And this will even include her downright ignoring people who try to talk to her if she can get away with it.

However if one does manage to get Michelle to speak to them, she will most often respond with an arrogant, harsh mannerism with the intent to drive any and all away from her.  Although in truth, Michelle is very lonely and wishes for friends she's too frightened to be open to others for fear of forming a friendship only to lose them once she's become attached.
