Maria Ann Ray

Maria likes to put up the facade she's a loud-mouthed, cursing brat because she can't trust people with her true innocent, shy, fragile self

Maria is:

• Indescisive: She's terrible when it comes to making descisions
• Critical: She tends to judge people right away and she's quick to see people's pros and cons (including her own)
• A Bit of a Crybaby: She doesn't really cry when something sad happens but she'll be fighting back tears when she's frusterated, angry or hurt
• Secretive: Even with her best friends she hides secrets and won't write a diary because she's scared that someone will find it and then read it
• Sensitive: She gets offended at the slightest comment and will either brush it off but remember it or get in your face
• Argumentive: She's quick to pick a fight, especially verbal ones, but will retaliate to a physical assualt with a punch to the face
• Day Dreamer: When nobody's around she likes to daydream about pretty much anything and everything
• Terrible in Crisises: She will panic, freak out, and be the one screaming in a crisis situation, her mind being unable to think properly

She's a good actress?

Maria's father died in the military when she was nine, creating the first scar on the girl.

Things began to go downhill from their, her mom becoming depressed. They moved from their quaint house in a nice community to a shabby apartment in the bad side of town because they couldn't afford it. Food came in smaller amounts and clothes became the wrong size and when Maria hit her growth spurt at ten, it drew the line.

Her mother began to sell herself for money. Luckily she didn't become an acholoic and tried her best to give Maria a good childhood. But when her mother was murdered by one of her 'clients' Maria was sent to her aunts' and uncles'.

That created her second scar.

Maria's aunt and uncle was kind and her cousins were fun to play with. She began to slowly draw away from the pain, but it still sat inside of her. She got new clothes and went to school with her cousins, taking an intrest in health. She decided she wanted to be a doctor right there and then.

Then her supposedly 'best friend' had a fight with her when she was fifteen the redheaded she-devil told everyone about her life. Her aunt and uncle were getting a divorce. Her oldest cousin (who she was closest to and told everything to) was leaving for college. Her other cousin, at the age of sixteen, was diagnoised with diabetes.

Maria's life seemed like it was over with all the scars slashing her at the time.

Now she just wants to escape life...
