Synopsis
Issat is the loyal bodyguard and adviser to Emperor Leto.

Hair color length and style: Short black hair
Weight and height: 6’0”
Build: Muscular
Skin tone: Tan from being in the desert

Issat has multiple scars on his back from being whipped and branded multiple times. He wears thick leather armor with a hood to hide his face during his days. The only person he looks in the eyes is the Emperor himself. Nobody else is worth his time.


Personality
Issat is extremely loyal to the Emperor. Uncaring of his health he protects Leto with his life. He has a habit of overworking himself despite the warnings of his subordinates and even the Emperor himself. Some would call his loyalty his strength and his weakness. He has an optimistic view on the Empire and the war itself. Fully believing they'll beat the rebels very soon he does his job to perfection. The motives behind his loyalty are unknown but welcome. At times his loyalty can cause him to be cruel, doing things other people normally wouldn't to get the job done and serve Leto. To double the danger, not only is he zealously loyal but he hates the rebels with a passion. Part of the reason for his cruelty could stem from the fact that his father was an alcoholic. At a young age Issat was beat multiple times. To add insult to injury he joined the rebels and left Issat and his mother behind.

A hopeless romance at heard Issat sees relationships as a hindrance to his duty. His men, however, do not feel the same way and are regularly scolded when they talk about their girlfriends or try to hook up with women in a bar.


Equipment / Abilities
Issat is a skilled swordsman and tactician. He also knows his way around the political table. Some would consider this a dark blessing however. When pairing this with his cruel loyalty many would be slaughtered by his hand if he got the chance. He considers the rebels nothing but pigs and scum.

He carries a steel long sword on him at all times. Keeping it polished and well sharpened he makes sure the blade is always in perfect condition so that he can tackle any situation he is faced with. He prefers not to use a shield although he knows how to use one if he must or one is available. Archery was never his strong suit but he is able to fire a bow and hit a mark with relative accuracy. Ontop of all his normal weaponry Issat carries multiple things that could help in a fight. Smoke bombs, grenades and throwing knives line his belt.


History
After his father left he and his mother behind Issat decided he should join the military to serve the Emperor. After a few years of military service he noticed just how well a ruler the Emperor is. After years of influence and idolizing Issats loyalty could not be bested by any other man. In one of his movements across the land Issat was captured by the rebels and tortured ruthlessly by Alphonsus and his men. This fueled his hate for his father and the rebels and surprisingly increased his loyalty to the Emperor. Not once did he reveal anything and eventually, after weeks of brutality, he was saved by a platoon of fellow soldiers hosting a raid on the forward base where he was being kept. Returning home the Emperor recognized his loyalty and soon initiated him in as a royal bodyguard. As Issat spent time around the Emperor their connection grew stronger. Issat became more and more loyal and the Emperor realized just how useful Issat was. Soon enough Issat was promoted to the captain of the Emperor's royal bodyguards. Almost immediately afterwards he was also dubbed the royal adviser. Currently he sits happily in his positions, helping the Emperor in whatever way he can and protecting him.
