Personality
¬ Personality: For being of a more demonic kind, it's a bit strange how he is nothing like his type.  Unlike his best friend, Lzerrah Chaos, Shalot is friendly and attached.  He's a hopeless romantic and loves the idea of falling hopelessly in love with someone.  Compassion is in every word he speaks and his actions are always just and pure.  Being born into this race caused him to appreciate life, which is why he's so strung on saving lives and taking up the role of a hero.  He often seeks out the light and because of that his friends often turn to him for help.

¬ Talent: Optimism. He can see the bright side to everything.
¬ Weapon of Choice:
Combat arm gauntlets and a katana

History
¬ History: Ever since the beginning, Shalot has cringed at his powers and does his best to avoid them at all costs.  It's one of the main reasons he took up a katana and learned to fight.  He would rather use his power for good rather than evil.  But why, you’re probably asking.  The reason is simple; Shalot had a great loss that really pushed him over the age.

When he was nearing his teens, Shalot overheard some terribly shocking news.  His parents were performing a ritual in which they would sacrifice Mimi’s purity so that they could become fat with wealth and riches.  Enraged, his crimson eyes glowed with a burning desire to protect his sister from the tainted ways of a piggish man.  Stepping into the chambers where the dark ritual was being preformed, Shalot lost control of himself.

Sinking into a swallow state that was consumed by darkness, he began his own dark ritual.  Slaughtering the priests one by one, he soon had two cowering fools that stood between him and his sister – his parents.  Without batting an eye, he stole the blood from those who gave him life.  Mimi, who was hardly old enough to comprehend what was happening, cried out in fear.  Her brother was a bloodthirsty monster and she feared that her life would be on the line.  Pleading to be raped and used, she begged him with her eyes to spare her life.

Confused as to why she would want to endure such a life, Shalot turned on his own sister.  Blinded by his madness, his dark powers brought a tear to Mimi’s eyes.  Never again, would she be able to sleep without wetting herself.  Nor would she believe in people.  Fear immobilized her as the darkness swallowed her up.

When Shalot finally came to, he found his sister torn to pieces.  Her naked body laid there with tear-filled eyes.  Crawling to her side, Shalot took her hand in his own.  He cooed lightly to her and asked what had happened. Paralyzed in fear, the girl rose to her feet and took off running.  She ended up seeking shelter at a church with a Templar.  It seemed as though Shalot’s true power had frightened his sister and she wanted no part of the man.  Heartbroken and defeated, Shalot set out to purge himself of the darkness that toyed with his heart.

A great many years of his life just wandering amuck, seeking out the reason for his existence.  One day, he crossed paths with a man by the name of Lzerrah Chaos.  At first, they were enemies.  Their blades clashed and, just when Shalot was about to take a turn for the worst (become a blood mage), Lzerrah smiled and placed a kiss upon Shalot’s cheek.  Confused by the act of kindness, Shalot let down his guard and decided to keep a wary eye on the blue-haired male.  As the years went on, the two later grew to be the best of friends.  To this day, Lzerrah is one of a very few that know Shalot's true power.  Most just assume the human is a simple soldier.

Not too long ago, the two paid a visit to Mimi.  Shalot, who had turned over a new leaf, sought out peace and happiness.  Still shying away from her brother, Mimi took a liking to Lzerrah. It was through Lzerrah that Mimi was finally able to explain her fear of Shalot.  Yet, her fear of him wasn’t as bad as one would guess.  Running into her brother’s arms, she thanked him for rescuing her.  Although she still cringes away at his touch, she knows that her brother’s heart is truly in the right place.  It is his actions that are corrupt and impure.

It was shortly after that terrible news shook the planet.  Shalot fled to Mak'nar in hopes of escaping the judgmental finger of the Templar that was guarding his sister.  He sought out this nation as he wanted to overcome his fear of using his powers.  Since the incident with Lzerrah, Shalot has been unable to tap into his darker powers.  He fears that, if he doesn’t learn to control them, his sister will perish.

Shalot stayed with this nation up until recently.  His friend, Lzerrah, went out on a quest to find his beloved friend.  Upon entering the nation, Lzerrah was attacked, but Shalot came to his friend's aid.  Enraged that Shalot would mingle with such a lowly type of mage, he was cast out of the nation because they were unsure of Lzerrah's alliance.  Shalot hopes to return one day to assist his darker brethren with their bidding and he still wants to continue his training.  Until that time comes, he is running around with Lzerrah in hopes of finding more of his kind.  Thus far, he's had no luck.
