Always analyzing the fight. The calculating rider of the Scorpio Halion!

Personality
He's not cold and calculating, just very detail oriented.

Arlen's always focused more on the facts and figures of things than the unpredictable events. He does know that things happen in battle that can throw the figures so he generally doesn't get caught off guard by that and adjust quickly.

He's a very level headed individual normally viewing most issues from a factual standpoint and not with the usual feeling that most consider issues under. He's tried mediating a few arguments but his analytic nature usually does more harm than good at the end of the discussions. Same can be said for him trying to get out of arguments involving him. Although underneath all the cold calculating exterior that Arlen is he really does care deeply for those he works with, he's just not to great at showing it.

He can usually be found in his quarters studying the results of that day's tests or reading a news feed about whats happening in the outside world. Occasionally he listens to music enjoying more classical music than any other type but sometimes the music he's looking for is hard to get into the base.


Equipment / Abilities
Martial Arts
Although he's more proficient with a gun the Izvolski base in Siberia has taught him several forms of martial arts. His favorite martial art, and the one he's most skilled at are martial arts that use his enemies strength against them.

Guns
Arlen is highly skilled in guns. Studying each one in depth before using it. This practice of studying the guns has led to an amazing accuracy on first use of most guns he uses. Due to a fairly light frame he prefers lighter more precision driven guns like rifles as opposed to guns that kill because the weilder happened to point in the right direction. His favorite gun is the assault rifle that he keeps in his living quarters when he's not on a mission or gun training.


History
Arlen came from a very rich family with a background in business and research. Which easily explains his calculating manner. His family was cautious with their money which played out well when the world fell. They weren't rich anymore but they could still live comfortably. Well as comfortably as one could when a dictatorship is breathing down your neck. The Guonzichon had tried to forcibly get his parents to work for them based on the research side of the family's legacy, but after being convinced that Arlen's family only funded the research they backed off with a considerable amount of the family's money

The British boy spent most of his time researching various technologies focusing mainly on the Ceytons that were sweeping the world and bringing down their enemies left and right. So when the Resistance showed up at his families  home He agreed for the chance to strike back at the people who'd inconvienced his family so much. as well as for the chance to  study the mechs up close. As he was being transported to the base he was surprised that he was actually to pilot one of the machines, he was "Plesantly Surprised."
