Kasumi Ryuu

I am my own pet

I have short blonde hair and usually wear the black headband you see in my hair. I am a half foot shorter than my brother and weigh nearly half of him as well. My hair is silky and flows like water. 

I am a spunky, blue-loving, caring, and responsible friend and sister. 

I am a water dragon and my powers double when the Year of the Water Dragon comes around every 48 years or so. I can control the water to a certain extent and can communicate with aquatic animals. I have inherited telepathic abilities from my mother and the gift of swiftness from my father. Me and my brother can communicate telepathically further than normal due to our relativity.

The first thing I saw when I was born was my father, Ryūjin, the dragon god. He had married a mortal and, within 2 months of they're marriage, they had me. My name comes from my mother, who's name came from her mother, and her name came from her mother, and so on. I guess you can call it tradition, but I just call it unoriginal. My brother, Tsuchi was born a few years after me but was heavier than a boulder. I, on the other hand, was as light as water. Hence the meaning of my name, Kasumi. I first learned of my powers and who my father was when I was 7 and my father told me. Every day I trained intently so that when my powers were in need, I could wield them well. My father knew of the great road ahead of me and how strong I would soon become, so, when I was 14, he decided to try and murder me in my deep sleep. My dragon sense's were at my best at the time, being the Year of the Water Dragon, 1953. Apparently my father was too insane to realize the time. I awoke when the hairs on my neck stood up from my father's heavy breathing. The knife in his hand glistened in the moon light. As soon as he lunged towards me, I became like water, literally, and flowed out to my mother's room. I tried to wake her up, but she was already gone. My father, the shadow dragon, had attacked. That's when I started panicking. I fled to my brother's room to find him hiding in the walk-in closet that was his imagination station, and you could tell. Next to him, my mother sat there as scared as I was, but not as confused. Oh well, I thought. I'll ask her when we get rid of this maniac. With all the power I could muster, I flooded the house, while Tsuchi encased it in rock. My mother, who had finally overcome the terror, enchanted the house with power  never knew she had. We fled the house, and, an hour later, a thought invaded my mind. You wanna ask me now? the voice asked. It sounded like my mother's. "Yes." I answered out loud. She turned her head to smile at me and then winked. I'm an enchantress, she answered, so are you and Tsuchi. So that's how... a clone. Nice work, mom. I thought to myself. "I heard that, Kasumi," she said. Well, not exactly to myself. I smiled as we walked the rest of the way to the nearest "rest stop." From there, me, my mom, and my brother stayed to together. She enchanted us with immortality when were the age we are now... kind of. She had set a magical seal upon our immortality so that who so ever met the requirements could undo our immortality. Unfortunately, we out lived her and she now lives in gokuraku while Ryūjin lives in jikoku with Yama. Me and Tsuchi support our selves now and are prep students at Alota Days High.
