Synopsis
The best businessman's right hand money can hire.

Description
Lance is tall but built with a relative slender frame. While he doesn't make a habit out of training his body, he hasn't let go of it either and so he maintains a slim if not very strong looking figure. He's got straight blond hair to just about past his shoulders and blue eyes, and tries to always appear as neat and tidy in his presentation as possible. He requires glasses for reading so he usually carries a pair around.

Personality
Efficient. Lance knows his place in society as an underdog, and is quite happy with it, for it usually doesn't make him a main target yet he's privy to certain secrets, many people and information. He's a dependable man who knows his work and how to do it well. He has many connections and knows many people, good and shady folks alike.
He dislikes arguing and confrontations and seems to obey his bosses without questionings, but he might give an advice unasked if he doubts something may work. Sometimes, he does things his own way, but the end result is usually the one desired and thus there aren't often many complaints.

Lance maintains a cold, servile demeanor at all times.

Equipment / Abilities
Lance is usually seen in suits, carrying his glasses in a pocket or on. He carries a small gun hidden away in a holster on his ankle, but he has only seen himself in the position to use it once before.
Other than doing his job well, he has no remarkable abilities.

History
Lance was born and raised in Devil's Grave, as the bastard child of a now diseased syndicate member and a whore. When he was still young, his mother begged his father take him and give him a better fate, and the man agreed after some more begging and blackmailing attempts from her. The boy was taken and raised to work at his father's hand as nothing but a servant- since young he was made to rely messages, serve as butler, and do whatever his father ordered of him.
His father was not precisely kind, and as a child Lance always would get harsh words or beatings whenever he did something wrong, until he learned never to do something wrong... or hide it very well if he did.

Lance grew up hating his mother and father both, but he served the latter until his death. His father's successor, his half brother, did not wish to have Lance around, so before the man could do away with him himself, he hired himself away to another syndicate member, managing the position quite easily by bargaining his dead father's contacts (and now his half-brother's) into the contract with his new boss.
