Gabriel Asher

Once a sky-pirate extraordinaire, now left grounded.

Gabriel Asher is by no means a large man. He is youthful, tall, lean yet not at all weak. He's got a sort of darkish red hair -almost always found dreaded with bits of leather and metal and some beads-, fair skin and brown eyes. He's got several piercings on his ears, a few rings on his fingers, and favors a rather changing style of fashion that usually involve different styles of vests with high collars. He would only be caught dead in an actual fancy suit.

Gabriel is sufficiently outgoing without being the center of attention, and knows when to keep his mouth shut... for the most. He seems to always mix business with pleasure, and has a general disregard for rules, even if he will often play by them out of convenience (or at least pretend to). Lies generally come easy to his lips when necessary, and he's charming enough that the easily fooled might just believe his strangest tales without a second question.
He loves making up stories, loves breaking rules, and loves it when people make trouble -so long as he's not in the middle of it-. He has no qualms with starting a fight then stepping out of it to watch everyone else fight.

Usually carries a gun hidden around his clothes, as well as a pair of goggles and gloves that often either dangle from his belt or are on his head.
His abilities are simple; he's a pilot/captain. He can drive or pilot anything you give him: dirigibles, ferry, train, cars, anything, but his favorite are definitely the dirigibles. and he knows his own from top to bottom and can probably fix most things that could come up, but he's not an engineer and he will likely have more troubles with ships he's not used to, and know nothing outside the matters of his ship.
He owns his own dirigible ship, called Melancholia.

Gabriel was born outside Svalentia. He was born into an average family and led an average life. His apprenticeship was that of a pilot, and so he spent most his youth in airports, where he met all kinds of people, including pirates. It was through one of those acquaintances that he first got int pirating, and the to have his own ship.
During his airborne time, he traveled wide and far and met a lot of contacts and saw a lot of places, the last of which was the island of Svalentia, where he had set to in his latest trip to bring some forbidden cargo, as bade by a person who wanted to get certain things to certain people, fast and without the controls the ferrry likely went through.
Gabriel was unfortunately stuck on Svalentia after that due to a series of very unfortunate events- which began with a crash he was lucky to survive. n the end, things didn't go his way and he ended up grounded and crew-less. Now he's stuck in Svalentia with a broken ship, attempting to find materials to fix it, and a crew to help fly it.
