Noctis aka: Nox

Black Leopard – She is fairly small compared to others of her species because of her captivity and little need to fight. Her coat is especially dark and you can only see her spots when the light hits it just right. Her yellow eyes seem to glow in the dark, like most cats’ will, but they hold a more human intelligence. She is about the size of a full grown man when on her hind legs in this form.

Hybrid - She tends to keep her form in a sort of half state between panther and human, having the eyes of a cat, and more feline limbs. Her forearms, shins, hands, and feet are covered in short black fur, and her nails are sharper. She prefers to go without shoes no matter what form, as she finds them unnatural and uncomfortable. She also prefers to keep her tail in this form, as she finds it's easier to balance with it. Other than that, she has short-ish length black hair that is almost always messy or shaggy looking, lean muscles, and a slender body shape. She stands at about 5’8”, and has longer legs than arms.

Nox tends to keep to herself, though will tolerate others if need be. She gets extremely possessive of things that are hers, and can be overly protective of those who she considers “family.” She will also get violent - sometimes to extreme extents - if someone trespasses in an area that she considers hers. Other than that, Noctis is quiet, preferring to observe rather than get involved. She likes quiet areas and high places, loving the solitude found there. She also has a love of knowledge, and will often be found reading in a tree during most of her free time.

Noctis was just under a year old when she was captured, taken from her homeland, and put into captivity in a zoo somewhere in North America. She hated it. Wanting to be free, but not being able to, she began to observe the humans that watched her on a near daily basis. Very soon, she realized that these strange creatures were able to come and go from the area as they pleased – something that she wished for with every fibre of her being. After a few seasons, Nox managed to somehow change into one of these strange creatures. One of the zookeepers saw this, and realizing that they couldn’t keep a being like this caged, he helped her get out, and directed her to the Academy. She has been there ever since.

Age: Looks around 18, but is actually just under 2 years old.
