Born between two races, Raine's life has been anything but happy. Despite this her personality is kind. On the run from her demon family, she is left with only two choices. Live or die.

Hair: Close to neon pink with strands of light pink mixed in, silky and long to the touch, reaches to about her midback.
Eyes: a gentle purple, but sometimes when she gets angry they will glow red from her demon blood.
Build: Thin with some muscle from fighting demons. She is around 5ft 3 inches tall and around 120 pounds.
Clothing&Style: Simple wardrobe at best, she wears long black pants with knee high leather boots. She also wears a simple black tank top and a torn and tattered black cloak with hood.

The aura around Raine is a mixture of danger and weakness. She is thin and has scars scattered around her body from fighting demons. She also wears a belt around her waist that holds her crystal wand, a dagger and her money pouch. She also carries around with her a bag with a pair of clothes and a blanket. Her wand is made from a strong translucent crystal and has the properties to transform into a crystal bladed sword if she wishes.

Likes: Reading, moments of peace to relax, animals (Although most are afraid of her), making new friends, crystals and other sparkly things, most music, dressing up when she gets the chance, singing.
Dislikes: Fighting (although she is more or less forced to do it), the color of her hair, her heritage, her family, what people say about her, death, close minded people.
Strengths: Often cheerful and kind, Raine is not one to show negative emotion unless it is about certain topics. She is strong physically and magically both training her body and magic to the limit to protect herself.
Weaknesses: While she is strong, once the wand/sword is knocked away from her, she has no way to defend herself. She can only control her magic through her wand, except a unstable power she never uses. She doesn't need the wand for it but refuses to ever activate it. Also when someone brings up certain events in the past, she will either shut down or start to cry. She's easy to manipulate and hurt.
Habits: When someone approaches her she will instantly grab her wand, also went she is angry she will run a hand through her hair. She laughs a strange little laugh when trying to lie or evade a subject.
Quirks: Despite how she looks she can be a klutz sometimes, randomly tripping when nothing is there. Most of the time she will try to make jokes at tense times then run away to evade pursuers. She will often jump into situations without thinking sometimes.
Dreams: To live past her 21st birthday and live a rather peaceful life. Maybe even becoming a writer or singer.
Fears: Her family, watching the ones she love die before her eyes, spiders and other bugs, her own power.

Raine for the most part is easy to read. She has a rather innocent personality until someone makes her mad. Instantly she will become a darker person. She seems to carry a lot of emotional scars and pain. But she prefers to stay all smiles and cheer. She is a pretty devoted friend and will often risk her life for others. She will sometimes think before acting, which does get her into trouble sometimes. When she's angry watch out! She can become a dangerous and sometimes blood thirsty person without emotions.

Powers:
Demon- can use this power to destroy anything. Often can be manipulated into blasts or can form it into a weapon to fight with. The color of the demon energy is often a blood red color.

Witch- Healing and defensive power belongs to the witch side. Is able to put up a semi strong shield and can heal others but only non fatal wounds and only other people. She cannot heal herself.

Breed Blast- The combination of witches and demons magic combined. It can form a large and unstable mass of energy which can level entire towns and forests if uncontained.

Wand- A clear crystal wand about half her arm in length. It is made from a clear crystal, none of which anyone has seen before. It has the ability to transformed into a crystal bladed sword.

Laraine Lockner Risk was born between two waring races. The Risk Demons and Lockner Witches had been at odds since long before she was born. Yet, beyond all odds, her parents fell in love and thus she was born into the world. A world where a half demon, half witch child would be hated. Right after Raine was born The demons and witches both shunned her mother and father, so the three of them ran off to a secluded area to raise little Raine. The first four years were spent in harmony, Raine was raised carefully and was loved by her parents despite their difference in species. However, it all came to a end one night when Raine's mother Lia was killed by a demon.

Consumed by grief and the the rising threat of the Risk tribe, her father slowly was starting to become insane. It was a slow process, by the time Raine turned 10 however Raine's father became consumed by the insanity. He lashed out at Raine, trying to kill her, then himself. But Raine tried to fight, she didn't want to die and before she knew it the house was engulfed in a explosion. Looking around in shock, Raine realized she caused the explosion with her magic, combining her white witches magic and black demon power. She saw the body of her father before her and she realized she killed him. In shock and despair Raine ran from the scene never looking back. She wandered the forests and towns living off of others and fighting against random demons before she was called by the Risk tribe leader, Eline Risk; her grandmother.

At first Raine began to have hope that the family would take her in, but those hopes were dashed when Eline Risk put a bounty on the young girls head. She was to be executed for the death of her father. Raine ran, but as she did several demons began to pursue her. With a bounty on her head Raine began to live in secluded forests and live off the land rather than visit towns and risk bringing innocents into the fight.

However one day a small girl came to visit the forest and she and Raine became fast friends. Raine felt happy to make a friend and in the span of over two years Raine really believed she could live there without the demons following. But one day the demons found where she was hiding and the girl, blinding by money showed the demons right where Raine was hiding. Feeling betrayed, Raine barely escaped with her life and slowly began to lose herself. She started to let her demon instincts over take her and killed anything that came near her. She locked up her soul, her emotions and let herself become the evil beast everyone believed she was.

When she turned 17 she was wounded badly in a fight with a demon. A young boy found her passed out and took her to his town. The boy, named Danny tended to her wounds and spoke gently, easing her demonic nature and as she healed she grew learn more about Danny she felt herself beginning to fall in love. Her demonic side now firmly locked away within her, Raine became happy again. Dannys outlook on life, his kind nature tamed her heart and finally the two confessed to each other their love. It was only two years later that disaster struck, and Danny's village was burned to the ground. Danny and Raine knew it was the Risk demons who had done this so the two ran as far and as fast as they could.

But even then, it wasn't enough. A demon from the Risk tribe cornered them and attacked. Raine fought him off as best she could. Danny wasn't a fighter but a healer, so Raine was the only one who could protect him. The one she loved more than anything. The demon was too powerful, wounding Raine badly and ready to kill her. Danny threw himself in front of her as the killing blow descended. He was blasted with demonic energy and died in Raine's arms, his last words being, "Promise me you will always smile...and live." Consumed with rage and despair she let loose the dangerous magic she held causing a huge explosion within the forest and forming a crater within the earth. She buried her love within the crater and began her solitary journey once more.
