Bonnie is Elena's best friend. In fact, she, Elena and Caroline all used to be really close. But things changed with Caroline, and now things are changing with Elena, too. It breaks Bonnies soft little heart. She's currently living with her grandmother, her mother having disappeared when she was little, unable to handle the pressure and responsibilities of being a mom. Grams is always talking about witches and spells and junk like that. It's just how grams is. Little does Bonnie know, it's all true.
